mathers along with grix were two shining lights in a very poor display.
mathers was willing to give the forwards a break,constantly he took the ball up,positionally he was spot on and in defence he was always in the right place,he will become the transfer bargain of the year.

Thought mathers played well in a very flat team today....i heard smith on GMR and he was spot on in his analysis .......Thoght both teams were poor but have to agree with the other posters Bratfut deserved there win...

Mathers as done really well to come back from such a bad injury, never be GB standard again, but he'll become a better player then he is now.
