| Should be interesting.
Wigan academy had a brilliant 20 - 0 away win yesterday at the previously unbeaten HKR to go top of the table.
The reserves maintained their top of the table unbeaten run with a comfortable 38 - 6 win at home against HKR reserves.
I believe the reserves game at Warrington is kicking off early to allow speccies to get to the academy game at Orrell.
Should be belters as should the Superleague game on Friday.

| Both our Reserves and Academy this year are the best I have seen for some years....Both teams went down yesterday at Hull FC though. The Reserves match was 26 - 22 to Hull
Academy match was 16 - 12 Hull.
From what I can gather, both teams didn't play their best rugby, although they created plenty of opportunities to win the games, there finishing wasn't up to their normal standard.......Even though they didn't play their best they both could of won their respective games....
I believe there is plenty more to come from these teams and they are both more than capable of making the playoffs and being in with a good chance of winning.....
Want to wish both teams luck this weekend against Wigan, tough games

| Rogues, you could post this on the Huddersfield board, market it as "Come and see your future heroes".

Of course I can. After all it's only the poor ones we will let them have.

They both get the poor ones. What would Wire know about producing SL quality players though.

Have you watched the reserves and academy lately....Wire are starting to produce some excellent talent....I just hope people on here support them in doing so......it seems other clubs, Leeds and St Helens to name but two, support and encourage the development of their young talent.....
There are several players in the reserves and academy with the ability to step up. lets hope they get the opportunity....or they will go elsewhere...
If Widnes had of given Myler a chance in the first team, he wouldn't have moved to Salford, so some people can spot the talent and are prepared to give it the opportunity..
