Genuinely confused by this. Mona's is fantastic in the air, yet we prefer a poor attempt at a grubber??

Is that all we have? Is that the jewel in our attacking masterplan? Regardless of the merits of the tactic, we have a group of players who couldn't kick a barn door at two yards let alone put delicately placed kicks to the corner.

Maybe its a skill that isn't as easy as Briers made it look?

the new modern tactic is to get to the last tackle whilst looking utterly clueless then whack the ball as high as you can with no real aim other than to confuse your own team mates more than the opposition.



If nothing more it gives the fans the chance to do a big "oooooaaaahhhhh" as it goes up then comes down.

I'm also pleased to see we have consigned the offload to the dustbin of ineffective ploys too. All this caper of sucking in opposition defenders and slipping the ball out to spark a second phase attack is sooooooooooo last year. Drive it in, no leg drive, collapse, count to 20 then knock on, that's the future.

and the "Conversion" is also in the dustbin as well........!!

When we run plays that end up with our centres stood still with ball in hand on tackle 6 then I don't think we need to worry about finding the right kicks. It's further back in the tackle count and some leadership on the pitch we need to worry about.

Oscar Pistorius would have added more to our kicking game than Myler tonight.

Myler is a woeful kicker the weakest of our 3 recognised half backs.

O'brien didn't get passed the ball to do any kicking & when the ball did go over to him...bridge kicked it. Smith is turning into this seasons Nathan Brown with some of his decisions. Warrington aren't a team this year, there's a lot of olayers looking to stake their claim on being the next warrington legend. On a positive note, I thought Westwood was fantastic.
