| Let us, themselves and the youngsters down big style tonight and their lack of leadership, passion, control and direction was the most depressing aspect of a thoroughly depressing night.
Michael Monaghan totally lacking in leadership, laboured and STILL NOT AND NEVER WILL BE A HALFBACK
Westwood pedestrian and a liability
Waterhouse, hot and cold as usual
Atkins no longer an enigma now just average
And Myler. Don't anyone talk to me about playing behind a beaten pack the guy was utterly dreadful and if TS wants to bring Ratchford into stand-off then GOB should get a chance. Howmuch longer we are going to give Myler to become the playmaker we need, to show he actually learned something playing alongside Briers and to consistently take games by the scruff of the neck I don't know. But he better do it soon, or we're gonna do it tough.
Notable exception, once again, Higham.

| Played well tonight...Higham and Hill in the forwards
J.Monaghan and to a lesser extent Bridge.
Everyone else were clueless and just got under each others feet.

| Have the Senior management let us down too.....?
Regular as clock work for the last 3 years with 18 minutes on the clock we have replaced our two starting props like for like.
Asotasi from Memory was subbed around the 24 minute mark then Gareth obrien was our second interchange just before half time.
Now that tells me Smith Lacked total belief in our Great youngsters. Asotasia was garbage and needed replacing but wasnt until it was too late. Hill was completely knackered and had to signal to the bench to be replaced.
It was a disgrace all round,

| Two captains on the pitch tonight and I didn't see any of them barking out the orders or instructions. At times during the game, Westwood looked like he really couldn't be d out there.

| Where was our game plan? Benny looked tired tonight. Very poor kicking game. Time to give GOB his chance, at least he takes it to the line, but then again he needs options.

I think it was something along the lines of cross your fingers that Saints drop it or give us a penalty.

| Waterhouse pulled his tripe out last night and saved a certain try covering like a fullback at one point.
Bridge did well without much good ball.
Monas, Ratchford, Westwood, Asotasi, Myler, Riley, Currie should have a long look in the mirror today.

| Not for the first time I'm pretty sure I watched a different game to some of you lads. Mick Monas and Myler had a poor game, panicky and no game plan on display from the halves but as for some of the other players being vilified, I just don't see it.
Waterhouse put in a shift, defensively he looked strong and was turning in the tackle for an offload that wasn't being supported - which I can forgive in the first game of the season, but we've got to be getting runners off him. Benny was his usual self, but too keen to do everything himself rather than bossing our players. I like the look of Asotasi; he's not settled into the side but he made yards, looked for the offload and but the effort in.
Our lack of a game plan was what did us last night and that's from the halves. No one was calling the plays and without a kicking game it was 5 runs and hope. So yes it was a let down, but let's not have hysterical over reactions about players being crap/past it/drop TS just yet. If we're still playing like this after 10 rounds, then panic.

| If were playing like that after 9 rounds well be 18 points behind saints or leeds.
We are a team going to battle for survival this season.
Forget silverware this season, it is going to be a roller coaster of nerves.

Whether we are playing poorly or challenging for silverware, EVERY season is a rollercoaster of nerves.
This IS Warrington Wolves we are talking about.

| I'm a little concerned over Asotasi's comments when interviewed on Granada Reports (aired yesterday before the game) where he likens the NRL game to being a 24/7 full time job and the British Super League as a 'pretty tough' competition where he'll get more flexibility to be with his family. I know a good work life balance is required, but his involvement in last night's game (for me) wasn't as impressive as I'd have liked it to be. Does he think it's going to be a "stroll in the park"? I want his job here to be 24/7, full-on and oozing commitment too.
Mind you, I had the same thoughts about Waterhouse when he arrived; and last night he began to impress me!

I thought there was only me that had been concerned with that comment,

| Nothing to read in to IMO re Asotasi comments/
I think he was referring to the fact that the game and who you are is in your face over there in Aus constantly. Players can't go shopping or go to the park without being stopped by fans constantly.
Over here, he'll get that maybe 5% of his free time.
