We are scraping the barrel if we think this is a positive RL story, no mention about Richie and his achievements in the game, they don't even get his team right, its all about his wife and her dress.

Congratulations to Richie and Helen on their wedding but they could have written this with a bit more respect for an elite sportsman.

But then what do you expect from the Daily Mail I suppose all their proper journalists were away covering Romanians claiming benefits while sleeping rough or looking to take upskirt pics of girl bands as they get out of taxis.

Quite untrue. The Mail does a splendid job maintaining a good political balance and encouraging the general public to be broad minded, independent thinkers, willing to consider the needs of the disadvantaged, and determined to espouse a multi-cultural Britain.

I really don't understand how it gets such a bad press.

To be fair to the paper though, the storey was about the wedding of a high profile tv presenter, to a rugby player.
Helen was the main storey, she is known nationally, thats why in the papers it was nearer to the front page than the back.
For what its worth, I wish them all the best, as they are really lovely people.
