"They are playing with a lot of spirit and got some confidence last week. I know they were down on some troops and that's often when you pull together, and we needed to do that ourselves.

Probably that desperation wasn't there for us in the way that we needed, whereas it was for Bradford. It's amazing what you can do when you all pull together and play with a bit of urgency and we need to find a bit of that ourselves in the coming weeks."

Hardly Churchillian is it?

The Guardian article is basically the same point regurgitated in three different ways.

So we need to play with a bit more urgency in the next couple of weeks then?

I can see our error count increasing already.....

That's where we've fallen to. Being out enthused by Bradford isn't seem as a major issue.

See, that's why no-one on here will ever be a SL coach. There was me thinking the best remedy for our inability to defend our line and finish teams off is to slow things down a bit, chill, relax, take it as it comes, admire the seasonal weather, think of fluffly white lambs and stabilise our inner equilibrium.

Leeds have clearly got this scrambling defence malarky hopelessly wrong.

So the game plan is sink to the relegation zone and then desperately pull spirited performances out of our collective s? And to think I was worried...

What worries me, is I bumped into a Bradford loanee when I was away the other weekend in the pub and he said they had all but given up entirely.

It's like the good old days. Wires were always the patron saints of lost causes - if ever a team was in a slump, hopelessly out of form, decimated with injuries or just absolutely woeful we could always be relied upon to turn up, lower ourselves to their standards, give them a glimmer of hope then throw ourselves on the sacraficial altar.

Was it against Hudds/Sheffield where we magnanimously let them come back from a big deficit to win at Wilderspool? Then we all had a nice sit down after the game. Thems were the days.

It's very disturbing watching Warrington this season as they look like a rudderless ship and also a side who are totally devoid of leadership and guidance out on the field

Honest question here guys....
Has Tony Smith lost the squad and are they simply not playing for him or are you really this bad a side, and if so why?
