Don't shoot the messenger folks, but was talking to a colleague at work today who said he saw Carvell coming out of a fitness/medical centre today and he said Carvell is still walking very gingerly and doesn't look at all ready for Saturday.

Looks like the Mike Cooper selection problem may not be such a problem after all?

Fully fit, Carvell would be in for sure, but not sure we should risk him when we have a decent alternative.

personally dont think carvell will make the 17 cant drop cooper he has been immense the last 2-3 months

If Carvell is 100% he should be in the side, probably best from the bench.

Well im expecting the same 19 as last week.no idea after that.

Westwood will only do about 60mins again, and Harrison about 50 so you need someone on the bench who can play both SR and lock as Carvs will take the other bench prop spot if fit alongside Woody. Unfortunately Cooper isn't very solid on the fringes IMO and struggles defensively reading the play although he has been exceptional from 13 in the middle recently. So therefore it's between Grix and McCarthy for me, and with Tyke missing out at Saints, I'd lean towards Grixy completing the 17.

Unfortunate, but Coops to miss out and I'd revert Harrison back to 13, with Grix & Carvs to the bench in an otherwise unchanged side from Saints.

With the possible exception of Westwood, I can't think of a player whose money would be worse spent than Carvell on a sex change. Atkins, now he could make a good looking woman.
