| Just listening to Sean Waynes' interview on BBC 1
I'd sign him up now if we could
I see a burning desire to succeed there, can't see it in our coaching staff.
Throw a 1 year mega contract at him. I'm sure he'd be a great acquisition

I'm sure Wane will be straining at the leash to come to us for a 1 year contract?

| Wane would be a great appointment provided people don't mind negative, albeit winning, rugby.
But as long as the WC is viable and going ahead, I don't think he'll budge.

| Richard Agar? I'm being flippant but hell he's delivering the goods to be fair.
Controlled performance by Gale too - unflappable, good distribution, great kicking game, pushed his team round and won it for them. A marquee player by any definition.

| Gale yes but not agar. No way would any of us accepted agar when Leeds took him on. Leeds are the exception to the rule for agar. Credit to him he's got them playing well, that's not been the case before though.
Wane I would accept. To be honest if prices instincts weren't to shut up shop and move away from what was working as soon as we lose a match i don't think we would be discussing this. His instinct seems to be negative and conservative trying to grind a result out and that has only ever worked for wire once in all the time I have watched them and that was last seasons cup final. A month ago we had the winning formula, lose the semi and we seem to have lost our bottle and I don't think price knows how to get us back to the fluent rugby we were playing. It's so frustrating.

| Let's be honest though ,the semi final needed a Plan B of conservative ,up the middle rugby. It works on a decent pitch in decent weather conditions but our A game of throwing the ball about should have been put on the back burner.

True enough but the games after that? That's what I'm getting at.

| We've not got the bully in us, I've said it a few times. Why win 60-0 when you can win 24-8 seems to be our mentality. A young Leeds team with a couple of oldies thrown in, we treat them with respect rather than demolishing and own them.
I'm not saying a full nasty tactic will win you matches, but when we look in our locker for the baseball bat, we've got a couple of feather dusters and a spud gun

Ironic really. For the majority of Price's tenure, our "A" game HAS been conservative, up the middle stuff even in perfect conditions.
Come to a semi final being played in a monsoon and we think we're the Harlem Globetrotters.

| Finding the coach that has our ‘baseball bat’ doesn’t mean we have to play negative rugby though.
It means finding our win at any cost mentality. It means finding the ruthless edge that we lack.

We never lost a game where he took over from TS while on breaks.

Just for clarity, I repeat [iI was being flippant[/i. Agar is doing well at Leeds but he isn't ridiculed at Hull and Wakefield without reason.
Gale was great though, positively Patton-esque.

I assume you mean Gale led the Leeds side superbly in a US General George Patton style and not in a mediocre Wire scrum half, Declan Patton one??..

| Regardless of the merits of whether this would be the future, I just cannot see Wayne and Warrington joining forces.
