| Thought I’d start a separate thread for this one rather than put it in last nights game thread.
When Widdop comes in what do YOU with Ashton, I’m going to Chuck this one in for starters drop Charnley. My reason for this and someone else pointed it out is he is to embroiled in trying to win a penalty far to often, as some one else said Lineham is a better winger.
That’s just my thoughts.

| Neither of your wingmen have Ashton's pace. He had a good game but Price surely cannot drop him after last night.
With Widdop and Austin in form and creating space for the outside backs Ashton has to be in the starting 13 each week.

| You drop King or Gelling and shove Ratchford in the centre. We need some threat out there. Or shove King in the second row and drop Currie. Basically if Ashton carries on as he is then he has to start and at FB.

| I see him as a Fullback. Not a winger.
With his ability we need him popping up all over the park latching on to breaks and floating round the ruck for offloads. With our play he'd be starved on the wing and his pace wouldn't be utilized.
Honestly. When Widdop is fit, if he hasn't done anything wrong I'd drop Ratch. No one should have a guaranteed starting shirt, doesn't matter who your name is. Ratch can either wait his turn or come off the bench as a piviot in the 13 role.

| Ashton should keep the full back shirt regardless of who is fit.
Widdop & Austin in the halves, with Ratchford as cover in that position... When everyone is fit maybe play Ratchford in the centre or bring him off the bench.

King was outstanding last night. Gelling was bang average as was Currie.

| Difficult decisions to be made. Ratch is the arguably the best fullback in SL and has spent the last couple of years honing his craft. For me, at this stage Ashton goes on the wing in place of Josh.

| No way should Ratchford be dropped. Railwayman is right, drop Charley and put Ashton on the wing, but don’t think we need worry about this for at least another 2 weeks.

| Yeah i'd drop Charnley in place of Ashton, and yeah i agree that there's no way Ratchford should be dropped.

| Ratchford has to play. If currie looks like the weak link then sadly it should be him to drop out. Play King second row and ratch at centre for me. Will widdop definitely play in the halves though and not fullback?

| MA has to play, he was a breath of fresh air. He has pace to burn and as such he is a threat to every team and something for them to think about when the gaps appear.

| Ashton was outstanding last night. I'd never heard of him before watching that game, and when Clarke did his usual build up of the youngster I was sceptical, but you've got some player there. Probably too young to be playing every week, but he needs game time. Fabulous prospect. Good team wire have got this season, fancy you to win something.

| Some interesting thoughts here, never considered the Ratchford thoughts. Thinking about it now though I think he would be a great 13, that said I get Ashton better in position he is in now but I’m just not happy with Charnley’s continued antics after the tackle refs just don’t buy it anymore.

John Pendlebury and Lockers are the type of player I like as a loose.
If Ratchford put on 16lb of muscle weight....he'd be ideal.

I must admit, it's wearing thin on me too.
There were several times last night where we were on the front foot and catching their defense struggling to make it back, only for Charnley to kill the momentum by flopping round on the floor. JUST GET UP AND PLAY THE F***ING BALL .
There was opportunity to either get a quick ball to Clark, Ratch or Ashton and break away behind the ruck or at the very least, win a penalty for catching them offside with our quick PTB.
