| If Danny brough does get 3 game ban i can't see them doing best than getting to the million pound game. As we have seen over the years he makes just a big difference to them and I think they are in some deep stuff if he does get 3 games.

| Huddersfield's next 3 games are Fev (h), Batley (a) and London (h).
I don't think a 3 game ban for Brough would of had that much effect on them really.

| If Leigh can beat 2 of the SL sides, then the million pound game could well be 2 SL sides.

| I for one am not bothered if Huddersfield go down. even in their barnstorming year they couldn't fill half a stand. The town just isn't interested.

A bit harsh IMO Hudd's speccies are by and large a decent bunch
It's not all about the numbers, do Leeds and Wigan have any more right to be in the top division? Also what about Salford I know they haven't had much success but even back in the 70's when they were backed heavily, brought in top talent and played at their spiritual home and won things they hardly had the sold out signs out every week

Noting against the fans, they're a cracking bunch. Always have a good laugh with them before and after games. But you have to admit... the game will never attract money or sponsors whilst games are played in quarter full stadiums. its amateurish and not attractive in a business sense in the slightest. It puzzles me why Huddersfield even bother to open all 4 stands in the first place. and the cameras always point towards the least popular stand
If teams played in stadia to suit their fan base the game would look a heck of a lot more professional. or at least put them all in the stand facing the camera to give the illusion the ground is somewhat full.
their die hard support is admireable but like I say, even when they were top of the league and challenging for the GF, did the town get behind them and pack the ground out? or buy season tickets for the next year? Nope. And that's what I mean. It's sad but as a Town, the interest for rugby League just isn't there. The same can be said for Salford and Widnes.

| I think or rather hope, we can do a bit better without Broughy, as much as i love him as a player, sometimes i can't help but think he dominates our attacking structures too much ad hopefully Ellis and Brierley can perform well together.

It's only a quarter full stadium because it's bigger than most! certainly far too big for us, and something we acknowledge is a problem, having 5/6,000 in a smaller stadium would look better, but not a lot we can do about that, or indeed to put more bums on seats, we've tried numerous ways in the past, but because of our lack of resources, we can't employ a big marketing team.
As for the people of Huddersfield, they don't seem interested in anything unless it involves glory hunting or bandwagon jumping, and a rift between the towns 2 professional clubs hasn't helped things either.

| Could be ideal for concerts there or is there some clause that bans music ? Much better option for semi finals than Headingley ,but sadly, these days RLCC games don't even attract the crowds they used to. Leigh looked good but even Donny was too big for their semi.

| How ironic would it be for Brierley if Leigh were to gain promotion at the expense of Huddersfield.

you should watch top class NRL teams rattling around in 85 thousand seater stadiums with ten thousand people watching.
I think a game involving manly had just four thousand fans this year, it may have been less, but it looked like it was played behind closed doors.
Empty stadia doesn't affect the NRL's ability to attract tv deals or sponsorship. ....
