Their isn't a single thread with the word "weather" in the title in the first 4 pages of this forum so i'm not sure what your point is, i stopped at the first 4 pages as i couldn't be bothered looking any further.
People who will be betting on the game like myself will want to know what the weather is going to be like on saturday as thats a key thing in RL, its a leveller for Wigan. |

Whose said anywhere on this thread that we can't play in the wet ? We have beaten saints and Wigan in the wet so its obvious that we can play in the wet, its just in dry conditions i would be confident of us blowing anyone away given our recent form.
Its not rocket science really, a team that likes to throw the ball around like we do and likes to offload at will are going to be a far better side when its dry, of course we can win in the wet but thats not the point.
Weather forecasts can be wrong anyway so i'd take that with a pinch of salt until nearer the time when it will be more accurate, its a one off game and we fell apart in the wet at saints last year in our play off game. Rain for Wigan is a leveller as most of the experts will tell you that were currently the best ball playing side in the league, a lot of their game is based around defence and trying to dominate in the middle which stops strong packs getting on top and then setting up the field position for the backs.
They obviously have their own dangerous players in the backs but our 1-7 + Michael Monaghan look a lot more creative than Wigan's equivelant.

I've more faith in Astrology and tea-leaf reading, and they're all 100% guff
If that Eno woman from North West Tonight says it's going to chuck it down at 4:30pm Saturday, I suggest everybody turns up in T-shirt, shorts, flipflops and liberal amounts of factor 4 on their arms, legs and faces.
If it rains, we'll win
If it's overcast, we'll win
If it's cracking the flags, we'll win

The weather will not affect the result, merely the margin. It'll have a greater effect on what to wear.
Us by plenty.
It'll also make crying Wiganers harder to spot, you're going to have to look for snot bubbles & red eye.

The only time we will know what the weather is going to be like is when we wake up on the Sat morning!!
This is obvious as everyone above seems to be banging on about it raining. Yet the forecast in the link says NO RAIN??? Oh what a change in a few hours!!!
