| I have two tickets in the upper tier of our end. Does anyone wanna do a straight swap for two tickets in the Club Wembley Bobby Moore suite with free ale included?

I am right in guessing that these tickets were pre-ordered using the 'what if' form (not picked my tickets up yet and suspect I may be upper tier too )

| I'll be annoyed if I'm in the upper tier. Not impressed - just not enough atmosphere v Hudds.
Down in lower tier v Leeds 2 years ago - awesome

Like I said in another thread, the Upper Tier feels like you are watching an event, the Lower Tier feels like you are a part of it.

| yeah, they were ordered with the "what if" form always been in the lower tier before and i wont be doing the season ticket priorty what if again!
You would have thought that majority of the fans would want the lower tier and there was not even a box on the form to choose which tier - perhaps a thought for the club next time we get to Wembley???
Annoyed as hell as i hear the RFL were selling tickets directly for lower tier in the Wire end the day after the Semi!!!!!

| For all three of our Wembley appearances since 2009 I've bought tickets from the RFL website on the night of the semi once we've got through. On all three occassions I could choose more or less any block I wanted.
This meant I was able to choose exactly where in the ground I wanted to be and at what price, without either queuing at the HJ or crossing my fingers that the club allocated me a good spec.
Unless you want a huge number of tickets together or are unable to pay by card and need to use cash at the ticket office, why would anyone do it any other way?

In it's current format (choosing tickets by price only, not location) I won't be doing the 'what if' again either. I would have happily have paid a lot more to be certain of a lower tier ticket but that was not an option. Was a little concerned before handing in the form but I knew the next time I would be able to get to the ground after the semi-final would be the Bradford game so I really had no option. (I could of course have booked direct with the RFL but I prefered to go through the club through a sense of 'loyalty'!)

| the annoying thing is that "the club" should put something in place where you can choose lower or upper tier as these are meant to be priority order????
Next time RFL directly for me

| Question for you two,
What options did you put down for price bandings as preferred choices?

| i put £26 down with £31 as 2nd and £41 as third, which is what i did in 2010!
I guess it is the luck of the draw BUT if there was a section on the form to state lower or upper tier as well then it would clear up the issue of the allocation.

| Quote: Fantastic Mr Catpiss "Question for you two,

In my case £26, £31, £41, £51 (in that order). That was based on a quick look at the RFL Cup Final ticket page which appeared to show more £26 tickets in the lower tier than the upper whereas the more expensive tickets appeared to be evenly spread over both tiers. I mistakenly thought that I would have had a better chance of a lower tier ticket by choosing £26 as my first choice. Had the options been lower or upper tier rather than price I would have selected lower tier and had no issues whatsoever if I had been allocated £31, £41 or £51 tickets.
I'm sure that on the day I will be made up to be their watching the Wire at Wembley wherever I am sat, but for now I am quite angry both at the club and myself. Putting it all down to experience and, if we are lucky enough to go back again, I will put my misplaced/mistaken loyalty to the club to one side and buy direct from the RFL.
