that steward was bang out of order and ought to be charged, I saw that the police too were recording it.

I was in that end and was comfortable with the fans and found it entertaining. I was alarmed at the approach into the stand by the stewards and how they deal with it.
Its interesting that the police didn't take that action. I don't believe that the stewards consulted with the police before they made such a cavalier approach.

If I remember rightly Aaron Heremaia went to give his boots to some kid and the stewards stopped him, why? (I could be wrong my memory isn't that great)

The actions by that steward was absolutely shocking, that was NOT necessary force it was GBH. I'm quite worried about how that occurred with no police intervention, I certainly would not want my family to be subjected to having to witness that close hand.

That was a Wigan person. Three Wigan followers were banned for it. These guys weren't fans and the Wigan club did the right thing for their true fans.
