The Super League twitter account tweeted last night that the winner of Wire / Giants game will have the West Stand which is the one that we had last year. But you cannot currently buy tickets in that stand because the RFL are giving all tickets from that area to the winner of our game.

didnt we do the pre order form last year for the grand final , like we've been doing for Wembley the last couple of times(in case we won)?

Providing Thursday goes to plan, we'll have to stand in the rain for a few hours again on Sunday like last year whilst those at the front ask "What colour is that seat then?", "Is that section going to be loud, with drummers in it?", and "Can my pet poodle go into the ground with me" ......... when basically anything starting WL or WU will do! (the back of W3 gives a great view of the underside of the roof)

Oh, and if you want to get home before Sunday, don't get the train !

we had a wonderful trip home last year, due to the large number of people at the tram stop, one of our party thought it would be super clever to get on the other side and go down to altrincham(where one of our friends lives) and get the bus to warrington, despite several hundred other people having this idea and where we were all going to get on a minibus.

Gets there, last bus has gone, so we decide to walk to mates house and say hello, however he's recently moved in with his missus, and she wasn't best pleased to see about 8 quite depressed rugby fans, who're coming down off an all day up.

In the end, said friend who's idea it was to go there, had to ring his missus to come pick us up, she was somewhat livid as she'd been asleep in bed for an hour and made us wait, just as it started raining.

We got back home about one am.

Does this mean the RFL have realised that having mixed fans at one end of the ground is a recipe for trouble?

We got the Coach last season outside the Kings Head. At 1pm the queue to get into Central Station was about 100 metres long & that's just to get to the steps of the Station. The train is usually the best way to get into Manny but IF we get to O/T I will try & avoid the Train.

Or perhaps I am wrong! Is anyone that posts on here that was in that Queue? If so how long did you have to wait?

I went on the train last year and joined the queue around 20 yards from the station doors. I'm pretty sure it was between one and half one ish. Couldn't tell you how long it took but it wasn't that bad. In fact, I think the reason for the queue was that they were selling tickets, once you were past there, it was alright.

I've just had a look at the RFL ticket site and there are quite a few tickets they are holding back until the finalists are known. Both Ends including both tiers, most of the quadrants, most of North Stand tier two,all of North Stand Tier 3 and a few blocks in the main stand.

It doesn't leave much time to try and sell out.

Will be booking a minibus this year should we win Thursday though, gettin home was a joke last year. Ended up jumping a taxi.

Last year, straight after the game we rang the RFL. 8 tickets wire end. No fuss. Hangover Sunday, not having to move!! Great feeling!!

No dramas for us. Mini bus last year from the Dog at 1230 back in Warrington for 9pm. Saying that we have done that for that last 8 years regardless of who gets to the final!
