Absolutely delighted about Wire going back to Wembley. Absolutely gutted that I won't be able to go as i will be in Orlando (Florida). Anyone got any ideas about how I could get to watch the match over there.

I have been to Orlando on many occasions and have never seen any RL on over there.
You could get to an Internet Cafe and watch it on the BBC's live feed or do you have a Laptop / I pad that you could take & use.

It's on the BBC so you should be able to watch on iPlayer via a VPN

There are a few places on I Drive you will be able to watch it, the George and Dragon which is about 5 minutes walk from Wet N Wild and The Pub which is in Pointe Orlando, the Best of British Pub which is opposite Ripleys Believe it or not or you can try the Scotch pub, Tilted Kilt which is opposite McDonalds on the crossroads with the I4 slip road.

They all have Sky and BBC so at some stage you will be able to catch the game. If you go in over a couple of days before and chat to them, I can guarantee they will put the match on 1 screen for you if it clashes with any of the round shaped ball matches.

Why would any Wire book a holiday at Challenge Cup Final time? In late 2009 my family booked a trip to Orlando for the following October and asked me if I wanted to go with them, and I said no because I couldn't afford it, which was true.

It was my 30th birthday in February 2010 and my parents had just sold their house and had a bit of extra cash, so I had a feeling they might book me on the holiday as a birthday present (and it turned out I was right because when I asked them they admitted they were considering it). I told them not to because I had checked the dates they were going and it clashed with the Grand Final.

Now I didn't really expect us to get there and obviously we didn't, but I knew that if we did I would simply refuse to go to Orlando and the money they spent would be wasted and a family fall out would ensue. Under no circumstances would I be going off on holiday while Wire played in a major final though. End of.

The dates are known well in advance, so why take the risk?

Oh, and my sister's then husband was a Saints fan and he did go on that particular holiday. He apparently spent all morning before the GF going round loads of pubs asking if they would be showing it and they all said no so he missed it.

The Challenge Cup Final will clash with Premier League football matches so you've got even less chance.

We are away again but on the West Coast this time. We missed the 2010 final as we were in Orlando and ended up listening to it on internet radio, the TV won't work on the internet and no-one has anything but Fox Sports (normally for football).

The reason behind going at this time is it is massively cheaper (by thousands) especially when you have a big family.

Mind you in 2009 we flew back the same morning and went straight to Wembley, wouldn't have ever missed that one!
