| It's obvious tonight, Eastmond has got things on his mind. Saints pack weren't dominated tonight, and Eastmond had his hands on the ball plenty of times. OK, people can have bad games, but his head was obviously elsewhere.
He's leaving our game and going to the 3 point game.
What England/GB could do with his services over the next decade. We've a world cup coming up. I'm worried that we go back to Rob Burrow (great SL player, but never really done it in a GB/england shirt).

| Stevo has said before the game that it will be announced tomorrow.
He didn't seem to want to get tackled once which screamed to me he was protecting himself from injury

| i dont think he was that bad..... he was behind a well beaten pack... he cant win games on his own... when he did try and take on the line we shut him down.... i think saints fans are being very harsh on him because he is leaving..... he looked like one of their most dangerous players... at the end of the day you cant plat sh*t.
They should be more concerned that their young replacements dont look up to the job of replacing him.

| The quicker he`s gone, the better for saints and RL in my opinion. He`s obviously on his way to Bath and choosing money ahead of the sport and club that gave him a start in life, i could understand it if it was later in his career after he`d given Saints many years of great service but its obviously the pound note that interests him more than any kind of loyalty to the club that has helped to develop him and has financially invested in him as a young player for the future.
As for appearing for England at international level, is he ever fit enough top be considered for international selection ? One minute he`s fit then the next he aint, its hardly going to give you any cohesian along with keeping a settled side.

Agreed, he had a hand in all of their trys. Shocking attitude when Gardner (i think) dropped his pass to the wing though.

I agree. Even with him I don't think we would have been knocking many trees down this year. If Graham goes there is a big rebuilding job to do before next season begins.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

I'd order some scaffold then because Eastmond is 100% gone and I'm told that Graham has already told the club he is as well.

| come on boys, this isn't in the spirit that I brought the thread up for.....GB/England maybe losing a superstar........but if it inconveniences Stains, then it's funnier than
Monty Python's
Fish slapping dance
Dead Parrot sketch
ministry of silly walks
Not The 9 O'Clock News
Gorilla called Gerald
Constable Savage
The whole of Blackadder II
MP's being sent to prison

Nothing the fans nor the club hadn't suspected for a while.
Leon Pryce is also leaving at the end of the season. Leaving vacancies in positions 6,7 and 8. All very crucial spots and none have any natural successors on the fringes of the squad either.
Spend, spend, spend should be the mantra. Rumours I heard tonight are that Luke Gale has been targeted to replace Eastmond as soon as he goes and a big name Aussie halfback is also in talks for next season. Quite how they replace Graham is a far bigger puzzle for me than replacing a set of halfbacks that don't play much anyway IMO.

The weakness of the pound means your goosed for big name Aussies.
Luke Gale replacing Eastmomd? You're having a laugh. The end of an era if that's true.
