| Richie Myler v Wigan.
His try was something of a one trick wonder.
The opportunity mixed with fast body reaction, quick thinking and skill.
Over the years there have been other bazaar one trick plays, Alfie Langer casually taking the ball one on one from Tommy Martyn's hands and calmly putting it down to score a try being another.
Do you have some memories to share? The type of play you have seldom seen more than once and most likely never see again.

| I saw Roy Asotasi make a 10m drive early last season, hung onto the ball as well.

| The most remarkable one-off play I ever saw was by Saints, and it was the big gullah John Harrison. He headed the ball over the defensive line then they scored off it and the try was given. Believe they rewrote the rules after that, but it was an inspired play. Another occasion I recall was when Jiffy got a penalty for us and lined the ball up from out to the right to kick it. The opposition gathered before the posts, only for him to toe-poke it toward the right corner flag and hare after it, picking it up to score. It was disallowed, but I can't for the life of me see why, to this day.

| Paul Rauhihi coming on as a sub at Salford ,takes a pass with his first play & runs 30 yards to score. I think Paul Wood also scored a 30(?) yarder in the same match.

| I seem to remember in the 70's Dave Chisnall chipping over the defence at Wigan and the ball rebounding off the crossbar of the posts, back in to his arms, for him to score under the post. Not sure if was against Wigan or in a cup match.

Fairly sure that was a CC quarter final against Wigan at their old Central Park. I believe we were met by a hail of bottles as we left at full time only for the wire line to hold and give chase. Happy days.
