Glad he got the all clear... Not for what he supposedly had done, but because we missed him as a ref. That, and he LOVES banter. Wrexham this year, warmed up at our end and was smirking the whole time some of our fans were throwing abuse at him. Top quality ref in my opinion, although some will disagree.

Might not be perfect (on the pitch) but he's got to be one of the best the RFL have got

I wasn't there, but its no surprise he had no case to answer to. If you read between the lines how the newspapers and tabloids "reported" it at the time, he was supposed to have punched her in the face. Yet, these newspapers then "reported" her to have had just pelvic injuries.

If he had punched her in the face, how come the papers didn't "report" her facial injuries at the time? For all we know, he knocked her over accidentally and a group of ed up family members made a an OTT reaction to it.

Guess the fact that he's been told by the CPS he has no case to answer means that someone got hold of all the facts, not just the juicy half truths put about by the press

If i was Mr Ganson i would sue the old biddy for putting my name & reputation through the mud as to speak. Too many people get accused of bad crimes and no charges are ever raised. Just look at the footy players who get accused of rape like Titus Bramble, Robinho, Christiano Ronaldo, Jonny Evans, Paul Dickov. names all tarnished. Watch this space for that Klasnic from Bolton who was accused last week. It really gets my goat that people get away with cying rape or trying to get people nicked when they are innocent. maybe they think they can earn a quick few quid from the Sun or The Star selling their stories. This then affects the real victims of crime especially rape victims when their cases go before the courts.
