| Those achievements have put Peet and his side in line for the BBC Sports Personality Coach of the Year and Team of the Year awards at the prestigious awards ceremony on December 17.
Wish it was us but have no problem with Wigan winning this. At the very least it will give the sport more national exposure in this country.
Also see Luke Litter is on the shortlist for young sports personality.

Yeah there is nothing more that Wigan could have won so surely a deserved Team of the Year. I just hope they have someone who can string a sentence together prepped for the presentation.

| I just hope we aren't going back back the 80s, where the Monday morning RL roundup would begin every week with the words "Rugby League, and Wigan........."

I`ve heard that Shawn Wane is going to do the acceptance speech, so that won`t be an issue.

| I hope they win beggar all and are beaten by a women’s flat green bowling team that only made the semis of the World Cup. Can we have more Wire Aggro behaviour please?

| Luke Littler? A sports personality? Why do we have to accept that a bar room game is a "sport"? They're hardly elite athletes are they

Don't worry. He won't win anyway. He doesn't fit the BBC's agenda.

There are plenty of overweight golfers. Do you consider that a sport?

| He has made it into the final 6 for the main award also. Going on the betting Hodgkinson looks nailed on to win that though.

In terms of achievement I think Alex Yee should win. Olympic and World Champion 2024.
