| I'm happy enough with his signing. I hope he progresses his career though, he does need to kick on a bit IMO from what I've seen of him at Wigan. I suppose it's hard to judge any of the Wigan lads from last season they were all awful for the most part.

| On a related note. We first knew about this signing in the middle of May!
Why do these deals take so long to be announced?

| Would rather see Doro get a chance. If this is our last signing then next season then Powell really does have his work cut out.

| Bullock has all the attributes physically to be another Alex Walmsley but he just doesn’t seem that have the mindset. He’s big, quick, an awkward shape, has decent footwork and mobility but he lacks aggression and seems to lack that will to push himself to be the best he can be. I’m not sure if it’s a confidence thing but there’s been no signs that there’s any steel inside of him. It may just be that Adrian Lam couldn’t get the best out of him (as he couldn’t with anybody) and Powell will be perfect for him. One things is for certain-get the lad playing to his potential, running his weight, pushing himself etc and he could be top class.

| Said when he was first rumoured that i'm happy with his as powell can get the best out of people and he has the ability to be not far off Hill. We just need another big boy in the pack and we're set.

He won’t be top class as he doesn’t remotely look like he could be useful in the NRL. He’s still a handy acquisition, considering we’ve got no pack, once again disregarding the the Golden rule…
PACKS WIN GAMES!
…furthermore, he never shown me he was better than Flower or Clubb, even Bateman Sargenson and Farrell have been more useful as makeshift props.

Re your last sentence, MKW, I'm in total agreement with you. If our new head coach and CEO regard Bullock as a likeforlike replacement for Hill, then I'm VERY worried. Let's not forget that Cooper is no spring chicken anymore.
Let's hope that Bullock is a "work in progress" project for Powelll, and we actually sign a prop of genuine clas in the next few weeks, otherwise 2022 is going to be a struggle.

| My view is was Hill the messiah no was he good a lot of the time yes but would you rather have had Morley and Carvell before Hill I’d say yes. Basically what I’m saying is give the lad a chance before we all condemn him, yes it’s me super critic saying that

| From speaking to some Wigan fans I would suggest that he has not really achieved his full potential yet but what that is realistically who knows. Now, as a Wire, I wish him well.

| Bullock, in the interview with the Warrington Guardian, says re Hill “Making sure his absence isn’t felt is up to me, the other props that are already here and any players who may come in.”
I may be clutching as straws, but that suggests that there could be another on the way.

| Obviously I’m not privy to the clubs finances but as a casual observer I’d say that so far salary wise we have;
Williams for Ashton, direct swap of marquee spot
Minikin for Mamo
Mata’utia for Lineham (Mata’utia maybe on higher salary due to shortage of centres available?)
Harrison for Akauola
Which leaves us with Hill, Inglis plus whatever cap space we had left from last year to cover Holmes and any increases in new contracts (such as King and Ashton). Whatever is left over could go towards another prop, but I don’t think that would cover a direct replacement for Hill.
Edit - Missed out Bullock, so there's another chunk gone.
