| With the choice of the 21 for Hull only a day or so away, who will Price go with for the centre spot ?
Mamo has really caught the eye in the last two matches and that supporting run for Curries' interception try probably sums up the effort he is prepared to put into his game in order to get picked. Gelling on the other hand is a big bloke and a specialist centre. he takes no prisoners in defence and the one handed try he scored typifies the strength he brings to the game. I am intrigued to see who will get the nod because it is such a difficult decision.

| Agreed. Tough decision. One thing that really stood out for me was when Jacob Miller put a little kick behind Mamo managed to turn and get back to the ball ahead of the attackers. He had no right to get to that ball first he was unbelievably quick to react. His pace can be a big benefit in attack and defence.
Then a week later the question of do we bring BMM back or leave Jack Hughes at second row.
I think Austin plays better when BMM is not playing. I don't remember too many times recently when Austin has dummied and gone or thrown a miss out pass (like the pass for Charnley's try) when BMM is on the pitch, I understand that BMM is such a physical presence and very destructive but sometimes when the ball makes its way to our right edge all roads lead to BMM.
I don't like the term dummy runner because each runner should be an active option and the decision to pass or not should be on the half back but if BMM was an "option" runner that would create a load more space either side of him. Sometimes the easy option is give it to the big fella.

| Mamo has done little wrong and Gelling looked on fire before his ban. I suppose it's good to be in this position. I would go for Gelling.

| I'd stick with Mamo to be honest, doesn't have all the constant brain farts Gelling does. I know Mamo isn't the biggest but for me he's more dependable, much faster, defensively sound and adds more to our attack wth supporting runs and options that gelling doesn't provide. I'm firmly in the Mamo camp

| I'd probably opt for Gelling against Hull FC based on size, his pre-ban form was also decent and he should be raring to go. The question then might be Mamo or Ashton on the bench?

| Mamo seems a player willing to put in the effort for the team and that and his pace are real pluses. Gelling has size and the unorthodox on his side plus he is a specialist centre, which just about edges it for me. The court case doesn’t seem to have affected him at all (perhaps he knows something).

| yes, it is a tough call and I wouldn't be too disappointed if Price stuck with the same 17 and made Gelling earn the place back, obviously subject to players carrying knocks. Didn't Mamo play against FC in the Cup Semi Final, that seemed to go well all be it wasn't he on the wing outside Goodwin?

| I'm not going to be upset with either choice. I didn't rate Mamo as a Centre after the pre-lockdown game against Wakefield but he's done well in the last couple of games.
If I had to make the call then I think that I'd go with Gelling and have Mamo on the bench where he can cover for Centre, Wing or Fullback.

I'd assume this to be more likely. Alternatively and similarly, Mamo starting and Gelling on the bench, with Mamo being cover for wing and fullback.

I think if Mamo starts then Ashton would keep his bench spot on the grounds of versatility.

The Guardian quoted Price as saying that he hasn't decided yet whether Mamo or Gelling starts but he did say that Gelling would be in the 17.

| I'm yet to be impressed by Gelling, and I was hardly a Mamo fan either but since the resumption he has been excellent. He gets the nod for me, based on enthusiasm, pace, form and being in posession of the shirt.
