| Price said at the end we should have some boys back and boy do we need them, lost 4 on the bounce, 6 of the last 8 and well and truly in a slump, hopefully he can work his magic and get some confidence back into the boys because challenge cup aside we’ve been awful for a while.

| We were 14 points clear of Wigan in June. I'll say they'll be level on points with us by this time next Friday.
That's pathetic and embarrassing.

Come October if we end up trophyless I think we’ll be looking for a new coach. Can’t see a win until September at this rate. See what Friday brings, but in reality they’re running red hot and we’re at sixes and sevens. When I listen to Price I don’t think he has much idea how to fix it, either. Vague answers and I don’t think it’s just because he plays his cards close. Happy to be wrong come Wembley or even OT. But can’t see it.

| Price has made every final since he has been in charge of warrington. If he manages to win a trophy this season I would class that as a success.

| ‘Wigan week’
Followed by ‘CC Final Week’
If we lose to Wigan we really will be losing grip on good play off spot, real shame.

Our pack has been weak throughout this period...it was the same vs Saints.
Our pack is shallow but when complete...we have the ability.
6/8 or 7/9 means nothing when 7/10 wins us the CC!
I'd rest the whole team against Wigan...finishing 2nd isn't a priority until after we win the CC!
....and I don't care if we finished the regular at 3 or 4...if we have the complete pack...we have the ability and we win the double.
It matters nothing to me where we play...if we have the best team, we win...regardless of venue or position.

It was "little things and quick fixes", now it's "speed bumps". I'll tell you what it is - it's a complete collapse of form, attitude, and confidence together with a sub-standard squad. We have flattered to deceive now we are getting found out.

I like your post for the simple fact you say what you feel and are direct in your opinions.. But can't see us winning a game at this rate never mind doing the double..saints ripped us apart at there place and we had a good pack even team out that night..hull away had us all purring but shy Austin up and we are clueless..normally look forward to Wembley but not this year... Think I may visit the beer aisle in tesco for some medicine

| Duckie, for the record could you tell us what you class as our "complete pack" that would win us the double.
Last year your post mortem of the Challenge Cup Final was that our pack had been battered by Catalans and so Patton couldn't compete etc.
That pack was: Hill, D Clark, Cooper, Livett, Hughes, Westwood, with BMM and George King on the bench.
So are you saying that the addition of Currie, J Clark, Philbin, Tasi, Davis or Sita are the great x factor that gives us a double winning pack.
Do you really expect our pack to be better than Saints...

| Our main worry will be dealing with Saints backs & their amazing line speed.

We are crying out for 2 good props to partner hill n coop. Our back row with both currie and hughes is too one dimensional either Bmm or Livett both had success running out wide. I think we have the ability to recruit the players we need wth the players on their way out and with possible future departures
But even hil n coop struggle to stop the saints forwards at times.
I think it will be interesting to see if any of the youngsters get another call up. I think it will be pointless paying Dean against Wigan. I think they will target him but I think that he had a good game in one if our most critiqued positions. Don't judge ahim by his mistakes but how he reacted and I think that was impressive.

Agree with all of that, especially the bit about Dean. The best thing about his performance was how the mistakes didn't effect him and he didn't go missing at any point. You wonder why we don't give youngsters more of a run out to blood then early wheb it isn't necessity. Dean could have been on the bench a few times to spell Austin and keep him fresh/ keep patton honest. Sure he could play 9 too if push comes to shove. Not often but select games.

Ha ha ha ha ha Well obviously if we have the best team we win, that's like saying if i run the fastest in a sprint race i'll win......well obviously ha ha ha
Theres just one problem.....we don't has the best team and we have a coach who refuses to change a losing team around or drop players who aren't performing. We've already lost the CC in my eyes. Will watch it but just to watch a game of rugby, i can't see anything but a loss and will have my mind blown if we pulled a win out of the hat.

| We had the best team in 2012 and didn't win! That's what gives me a feint hope for the challenge Cup and also playoffs (if we make them). It's a very, very feint hope though I don't have confidence in the coach and some of the players at the minute.
