Wire Yed RIP

An absolute ing shame, I can't put into words how I felt when I found out last night.

For those of you that didn't know him, yed had his troubles but he was a diamond of a bloke, funny, as already stated we thought he was working through them.

I'd like to share something being passed around facebook today, regarding the hot topic of males and mental health, just last week he was trying To Help a friend of his who was having a hard time.

Guys don't talk about Mental health, I find that sad, genuinely sad, I usually have to talk to women for conversations with depth, guys attitude is chin up, crack on, now let's talk about sport.

That may work for you, or you may just be uncomfortable with another man in front of you readying himself to pour out his soul but do you know, around 70% of suicide is male. We need to talk about it guys, stop feeling uncomfortable, stop attaching yourself to this societal attitude that we 'man up' and crack on. Do you know what is worse than being lonely? Being surrounded by people and still feeling lonely.

One thing that has bugged me through life is how I have had to swot up on sport, just so that I could have a conversation, I envy women, I hear their conversations and they are just so much more, I hear them talk about problems and situations and look at how they rally around each other, and then I see my male friends/associates/colleagues/general random males, talking about ing football, I'm not saying women don't have banal conversation we all do but they're so much more prepared to talk about anything. Hence 30% of suicide being female.
Crazy, 7 out of every 10 deaths by suicide is a man.

Guys reach out, talk about it, or please if all is well in your life please be prepared to actually listen to someone, a friend, an acquaintance, please just stop with this Alpha male bull.

If people write something on here, don't see it as attention seeking, see it has someone who has no ing idea which way to turn and is reaching out for something, anything to make sense of their life.

Now I'd need to clarify this isn't all males, I have had some great support through my own troubles but my ratio of concern was probably 80/20 in favour of women, and even still I struggle with abject loneliness and I find that when I do a friend purge I'm increasingly just binning guys, guys WE NEED to get our act together, we need to help each other and we need to start ing off all this machismo bull, be free, stop caring what society thinks of you and be brave enough to start giving a .
