| i thought Kev Penny was brilliant.... a joy to watch... its just a shame saints (and wire) didnt kick the ball to him more often.
Ben Currie is probably now the best backrow in the league.... the guy is turning into a real superstar.
Daryl Clark - A massively talented hooker.... i really think our next signing needs to be someone to rotate him with, as we look lost without him on the pitch now.
Lineham - LOL only joking

| Positives? I didn't have to listen to the muppet show bang on about Sandow missing and especially Eddie breaking out the willy wipes when Saints won.

| Daryl Clarke has been our best player for a few weeks now... arguably our most important player in my opinion. Monster in defence, and great at getting us on the front foot in attack.

| That is what we lack. Nobody wants to take the ball forward. They just keep looking for an offload.

| the positives are the fact that we have lost two games this year and both by missed conversions and in both losses we have took the out of the opposition by letting any Tom Dick Or Harry have a kick at goal...
in one game we will all actually find it funny and have a right laugh in the boozers afterwards...

| I thought Ratch was completely wasted at hooker when Clark was having a rest. Ratch is better running off the hooker.

| If I'm allowed to do a real positive, Jullien was terrific when he came on: Busting tackles and great defence.

I agree about Julien Browny he's certainly not shy.
Apart from getting this perennial banana skin out of the way, another positive for me was Lineham, he certainly lost that scapegoat tag last night

Agree with this. There were a couple of times last night when they ran at Jullien with the ball and the Saints player just seemed to stop dead as though they had hit an invisible force field. When he made a break he missed (Ratchford ?) the support on his right, but yes he is a really interesting player. I can remember reading an interview with him on the web page of his original club SO Avignon. He said he was prepared to do anything to get the chance to play in SL. He has already had a short stint in Australia and has now uprooted to come over here. That shows a great desire to go the extra mile which is half the battle for a player wanting to make the grade.
Play him for 8 matches or so and lets see what he can do. Don't care if it is at BR or centre personally. From the games we have seen he has never let us down and shows great promise.

| For the RL purists the last two games have given us some rare treats, of seeing:
An 8 point try
A team declining the post try conversion attempt
and (almost) a scrum won against the head
Any more niche RL action that anyone can add that we can anticipate ?
Maybe a penalty for feeding at the scrum, or someone penalised for incorrect PTB to look forward too in the weeks ahead....

| Speaking of an 8 point try, I know it would never be given and am not bemoaning it, but penny was tackled in the air when he scored our first try. Should that have been 8 point by the letter of the law?

With our goal kicking last night we'd have turned it back into a standard 4 pointer
