| When he left I thought he would be a major loss. However, it does seem that D Clarke kicked on and as an added bonus Dwyer has gained first team experience and at times been a real game changer. Long way to go but on reflection think I'll put it down as a win.

| I wonder if Micky regrets edging his bets that Leigh would be in SL next year.... I assume that was perhaps a bit part of his decision as well as the money. Yeah, we won with Clark. We have him for another 3 years and I doubt Micky will even be playing then. Clark's best years are ahead of him, same for Dwyer who lifted us hugely when he initially came back.

| Wire should build the team around Clarke , he's going to be that good in the future. I expect him to play more like the man of steel of a couple of years ago for cas. I think we will see him settled now hopefully injury free and a good pre season under his belt

| I don't believe Mickey wanted to leave mid season and decision was forced on him , many times after he left we really missed his experience and winning mentality, Dywer did really well but couldn't be expected to deliver what Mickey could at crucial times in games

| Yes he did, he was offered more money. He wasn't on a great deal of money when with us.

I heard he was given a take it or leave it option , yes it was a much better deal but , it wouldn't be there at end of season

| Reigning man of steel and a junior impact player who has actually had an impact from the bench and you've got rid of a 34 year old on the downturn. Looks like good business to me. We could have done with any of them to alleviate our hooking crisis at Leeds.

| Yeah, you've only won the Challenge Cup and League Leaders Shield and you're two games away from the treble. True crisis.

| I think there was unrest in the camp aswell which led to him moving on early, but I agree he edged his bets Leigh would be in SL.
Not sure what crisis Leeds have faced this season

You sure that it wasn't his actions that caused the unrest? Just after he'd finished his testimonial too.

I wouldn't even pretend to know the why's and wherefores, but, I was disappointed in the way that Higham left and he wasn't the only one. We weren't on a par with the chaotic 'goings' at Salford, but, it was all a bit unsatisfactory how it ended IMO.
Whilst I'm not comparing them as players, look at the reception that Morley got on his walk round the pitch v Catalans recently...fond memories all round, a proper warm welcome from the crowd which I'm sure Morley enjoyed too?
How it should be

| I'm not sure Mickey's primary reason for leaving was because Leigh would be in Super League to be honest. If he just wanted to be in Super League he would have stayed here. Let's face it, even if they had come up Leigh wouldn't have been winning anything while Mickey was still playing. Th£r£ w£r£ oth£r r£asons for Mick£y l£aving.

Totally agree . Money is the main reason for most players. Look at Salford.

| Short career, not surprising that money is a motivating factor especially at the back end of a career.

| He's made his bed. Let him lay in it.
He's been spun a yarn by Beaumont, and that whopper of a coach. Leigh came out of the blocks like a train, this season, but, since the qualifying 8's, they've reverted to type. Tough buns, Higham (by the way, I like the fella).
Leigh need to take stock, incase they become the new Salford. They've already got MoiMoi and Hock (and not got into SL), now they seem to be keen on more Salford cast offs (presumably on VERY SIZEABLE Championship wages).
The next 12 months will be very interesting in Leyth.
Charlie knows. Even though he seems conspicuous by his WW site absence
