| I personally feel we are currently carrying 3/4 passenger which is far too many to challenge for silverware. Players who come in and play well don't keep the place they deserve because of names/salaries of others. We can't actually expect to challenge for trophies when we have the likes of Atkins, myler, asotasi in the team, and even then there's other positions that could do with strengthening.
For next season we have signed a 32/33 year old Aussie with no set position when what we need is an out and out halfback to partner Patton going forward. If we have signed line ham then he is a good solid pacey winger but rumours are he is replacing Joel who is one of our best finishers so not sure how much this will strengthen the overall team. Ideally we need to lose Atkins, Toby king deserves his shirt he has shown more natural centre play in the little time he has had than atkins ever has. Asotasi is surely on his way, we need to sign an improvement. Higham will be off so a hooker or 2 is needed, and obviously we need a half to replace myler because gidley is a utility player.
I'm not sure how long it will take for us to be one of the top two teams in the league again but I can't see it being in the near future.

| i think the loss of Michael Monaghan has hit us more than most thought it would.
this team has lost leaders and its showing... Morley, Briers, Hodgson, Monaghan...... there are 4 top quality players AND leaders.
we have replaced them (sort of) with other players, but none of them good enough to lace the boots of the players they replaced.
We're like rudderless ship sailing around without a game plan.
Gidley has been signed to try and bring some of that must missed leadership..... i think a few more will be as well.
we have plenty of good young players, they just need players to learn from and players to inspire them on the pitch.

I used to be guilty of thinking that Warrington RLFC owed "us fans" something. Ambition, to win everything, to play a certain way etc. In truth they owe us nothing.
The team play and you can choose to watch them if you enjoy it. That's the deal. If you are finding it's making you angry and frustrated, falling out with strangers on here then perhaps it's not for you. I cannot see the point in complaining and getting hot under collar about something you have no control over.

| A major problem is that there is at present a general lack of available talent in the British game....what hasn't been poached by NRL clubs has been tied up on long contracts thus needing a transfer fee to get their services. I think we need to accept that our future team will revolve around many of the players we already have. The future will show us what our coaches are really made of in getting the best from the players.

| I'd be happy with Scott dureau for our half back, good leader, organisational skills and good kicking game + he's off contract with Catalans at years end. Give Atkins and Asotasi the boot and Richard Agar. Been working on and off with the wolves physio team for awhile and noticed some really crap decisionsehind the scenes. Tony smith is taking less and less of the training sessions and Agar is in charge more, and the players don't seem to like him. Also there's a lot of dislike for our new conditioner, Paul wood had him pinned against the wall at one point and 2 weeks later left for Featherstone rovers. Willie poaching should never have been let go, back room staff needs sorting as well as at least 3 quality signings. Halfback, Prop and centre and a powerhouse second rower for good measure.

Not sure how accurate this list is but I'll take Thaiday, Maloney and Coops if they're going spare! L'Estrange as a replacement for Higham maybe? Is there a similar list for Super League?

| I suspect the increased involvement of Agar is a factor, and it may well be that the players don't like him or his methods.
BUT - the players themselves have to take a lot of the responsibility for the present problems. The coaching setup is exactly the same as it was for the two Leeds games, and I didn't see any issues there. So, either the players are picking and choosing when to perform or are mentally and physically incapable of consistently raising their game. Either way, we can't pin that on Agar.
Also, if TS & Moran were watching all their good work head down the U bend for Sewage city at the hands of Agar, and he'd already lost the dressing room, then I suspect something would have been said to him, certainly by Moran who has no friendship-baggage. I'd also expect Monas, as captain, to be voicing concerns to TS.
Whatever our feelings about Agar, and the mans abilities, the players need to spend some time looking inwards at themselves, and their performance levels before pointing the finger elsewheree..
