| There appears to be a lot of discontentment amongst sport fans with the latest Sky/BY deal for Premiership Football, including talk of boycotting the game. Is this something that we could benefit from? If so how should we go about it?

| At the high profile premiership teams Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea etc for every 1000 or so that boycott there are another 1000 on a waiting list willing to take their place. Add to this that Premiership clubs care more about the corporate side for revenue (the type of person that wouldn't have been seen dead on a football terrace in the 70's and 80's) I don't think they even care what the average fan thinks .

| Sky's current SL deal is approximately £18M year which is less than what Sky are paying for 2 premiership games. Puts things into perspective a bit.

| Friday night premier league games can not be considered an opportunity for rugby league. No wonder we have started playing Thursday night matches sky don't want to lose the rugby audiences through clashes. Personally I would welcome a return to Saturday night televised games.

Have you actually read this topic?
Then perhaps you'll understand that who cares has a double meaning in this context that has obviously gone over your head.
If there is indeed to be a Boycotting in rugby league and or Man U then it's up to people who care enough to make it happen but also endure the fight, which didn't happen at Utd with the Glaziers.

I have read this topic as it happens and what is obvious that a lot of what you post apparently goes over the head of anyone who responds to you negatively...it's your standard riposte and it's tiresome.
Who are these Manchester United fans that you speak of, you know the ones that are boycotting matches specifically because SKY have put all this money in?
As I understand it, there are plenty of 'average' Football supporters of quite a few clubs that find the money in the game ridiculous particularly when it sloshing around in the pockets of agents and mercenary journey men.
Question is, should we as a sport try to take advantage of this? Well I think we should, as our sport is generally a better product in terms of value, it's one that has not lost touch with reality and is something that can still and should engage with the community that our teams represent.

I just told you, do I have to literally spell everything out.
Glaziers. FC Utd. Boycotting. Who Cares.
That is the point.
Boycott or not, they all go back to being Lemmings in the end, a Lemming being a in factual critter that follows it's leader over a cliff.
