| 6-0 down and we just cranked it up..... not even losing key players made a difference.
Some fantastic displays out there tonight.
GOB was fantastic, Harrison was excellent (that early hit on walmsley did him properly, he never recovered and went off). Both Monaghans, laithwaite... the list goes on.
Whats really nice is that we are finishing the season with saints and wigan... a perfect opportunity to turn the intensity up and go into the play offs battle hardened.
It was great to see us turn up and play for each other tonight... a real decent display full of intensity and desire.
Mind you, we wont play a team as poor as saints every week.... They are awful.... we really should have put 50 on them

| M.Monaghan is a rolls royce of a player. The way he draws people in and times his passes is amazing, he has no equal in super league at it.

| I'd love for Monas to have enough in him to go around again, him and Clark would be incredible. Higham for me is off the pace at the moment, but in his defence, it's a tough act to follow when he gets on to the field.
Monas just looks hungry to me, like a man possessed. Fingers crossed he can retire with a winners ring. Long way to go yet though

| I think it was a very good performance. The intensity was high, we completed our sets, and we made few errors. But.. the kicking on the last tackle was pretty awful from Myler and GOB, and Saints were absolutely shocking - the last try gifted to Atkins was dreadful. So good reasons to be optimistic, but lets not get too carried away just yet.
I hope we get Ben Evans back for next week, it looks as though as per usual, we are picking up lots of injuries at the end of season again.

Agree that the kicking was very poor... but saints were so inept at pretty much every aspect of rugby, it didnt matter.
a good team will punish us though im sure.

| I wonder how much damage that has done to their morale ? Their forwards looked totally leaden at times, and their heads went down after about 10 minutes into the second half.

| I was gettin fed up watching Jordan Turner doing the continued drop off pass.
Very impressed with gob tonight, we need to give him an extended run, was pleased with Myler tonight as well, finally seemed to have some confidence and a smile on his face tonight, second half he seemed to be organizing a lot more.
Let's hope it's not just a one off

| For Saints everything relies on their pack at the mo and our forwards more than did the business. A good hit on walmseley took him off early. Mase Mose knocked on twice through great hits and was no threat.

| Well, I have to say that was the most brutal, physically dominant and punishing defensive display I've seen from ANY team for quite some time. Saints seventeen didn't attempt to hide their intentions, their gameplan was to be aggressive and bully their way to the LLS, and I have to say I thought they would be successful. Cue a wonderfully brave and unyiedling Wires display. Saints weren't beaten, they weren't outfought, they were riotously plundered.
I'd also like to put on record that the three pantomime baddies Myler, Waterhouse & Asotasi were all excellent.
So was everyone in fact, there wasn't a flaw in the collective flood defense. Special mention to Gareth - that hand-off for his try would have brought a lump to Mr Briers throat, and brought a lump elsewhere for yours truly.
Poetry. Utter poetry.

| It was a very professional performance from Warrington tonight, particularly as you lost Grix and Westwood pretty early. It was a strange game though as you score a lot of points without really doing much to get them. Saints made unforced errors and you scored plenty of ridiculously soft tries you just won't score against the better teams. All you had to do tonight was drift wide, look to pass, dummy and stroll over.

| I feel so sorry and bad for James Roby, He's a shell of his former shadow.

That Harrsion hit early doors changed the game in my opinion.... it showed we couldn't be bullied up the middle and saints crumbled after it.
There is no better forward in our squad to meet a charging forward than Harrison.. the guy has had his injury problems, but he is a brick wall and he will hurt you given the chance.
Fielden is still sat under a tree reading nursery rhymes by all account.
