| There is a group of us travelling across to Bradford on Sunday. Can anyone tell us the best route etc to take?
Is it close enough to walk from the centre of Bradford to the ground? Good pubs????
Thanks

| It's possibly the easiest ground to get to in SL.
M62 to junction 26,
M606 all the way to the end, follow the road to the right then 2nd to last exit on the roundabout, park on the leisure centre. Ground is across the road or pub on your right.

| Easiest route is M62 onto the M606 but if there's any delays or such to obstruct this way then Jct 24 on the M62 (Huddersfield) through Halifax is a nice back way in, little to no traffic and only a little longer than the M606 route.
Caution on the M606 route though as they have variable speed limits and a load of speed cameras, seen 3 cars in a row get caught out there.

| I think we are looking at the 9.44 from warrington. Think we have to change in Huds. Do most fans head and have a drink near the ground or do they stick around Bradford town centre? Hoping for a big Wire turn out!

| Seems odd you changing trains at Huddersfield! Why not get off at hudds sample the bars by the train station and the bus to Bradford stops outside the train station and then takes you right to odsal takes about 30 mins plus upto 5 (both adults and kids) can travel on a first family ticket for £7.70!

| Yea this is true but wanted to make a day of it! Few pints in Bradford etc. The busses always leave late etc. Still nice gesture by the club but just not for me really!

| Really easy to get to. I forget which but there's a bay in Bradford Interchange (?) where all the Odsal buses go from. They use the bus way so get there quickly and there's a stop right outside the Top House pub, which usually has a BBQ on. At the side of the ground is Cue Gardens, which is nice enough but overpriced.
I think after the game they open the Trevor Foster bar in the coral stand and lower the beer prices.

Is this definitely right? Google Maps reckons it'll take an hour to walk it.

| Hi,
As a native Bradfordian, I'd like to weigh in here and offer some knowledge about travelling to Odsal
You CAN walk to Odsal, but it will take you a while to do it and it's all up hill and as the weather isn't due to be that good tomorrow, walking it might be less than pleasant. However, if you do want to walk it, the stadium is sign posted and you just need to follow Manchester Road, which is a main road out of the city, all the way up to Odsal Top.
It's much easier, however, to go to the bus station at the Interchange in the centre of the city and, depending on how many of you there are, get either a bus or a taxi from outside the main entrance. A taxi will cost you about £6.
Buses that go to Odsal are fairly regular even on a Sunday. Numbers 623, 626, 645 and 268 all stop outside the Top House (that the pub on the round about opposite the stadium) and you'll usually see people going to the game in the bus station so just follow them.
There's a number of pubs near Odsal; The Craven Heffer The Woodsman, The Red Lion, The Top House and Cue Gardens are all within easy walking distance of the stadium.
If you want to drink in Bradford town centre before the game, there's a Weatherspoons opposite the town hall as well as the Ginger Goose on the road next to the town hall.
Hope all that helps and enjoy the game
