| I'd like to think we could give Hill and Waterhouse a rest this weekend. Wonder what the 17 will be.

| Back line picks itself unless he plays Monas at 7 and sticks Ratchford in the centres. Or I suppose he could put Currie there. I can't see all three hookers being in the 17.

| A lot stronger than I thought we'd be. Can't see enough forwards in the squad to be able to rest the likes of Hill/Waterhouse. Joel and Higham to miss out is my guess.

Joel needs the wake up call of a week or two at Swinton, after seeing his defensive efforts at Cas.

| Well I know we are playing rubbish ATM but I am surprised that Smith has not given Toby King or Tom Walker a debut. That selection looks to be OTT and suggests that he thinks we really are lacking in confidence. Perhaps TS is starting to feel the pressure.

| Or he is hoping that if the team put in a good beating of Doncaster it might move them forward.

I'm with you on this. We can't fix issues with players sat in the stands.

The way Doncaster are playing atm and after the performance we put in at Cas,I can see this being a toughy. Joel really needs a lesson or 2 on the tackling bags.
For me:
Russell
Evans
Bridge
Atkins
Penny
O'Brien
Ratchford
Asotasi
Higham
England
Laithwaite
Waterhouse
Currie
B Evans
Dwyer
G Riley
M Monaghan
Joel for me shouldn't play. I would send him swinton but TS won't do it.
Hill for me has been our best player this season by a country mile. I think he deserves a week off.
I don't understand why we've recalled Danny Bridge back from Bradford unless he's cup tied? But apart from that there isn't a lot you can do with that team.

| What is more of a concern is what kind of team Doncaster are going to put out.
Reading an article by Paul Cooke today stating that they will be resting players as, and i am paraphrasing, he knows they will get beat no matter what team he fields so he would prefer to give his key players a week off.
I think we all may be rather bored on Sunday afternoon

| I think TS is obviously hoping to rebuild some of the confidence that was hammered at Cas, and to try and build on what we saw against Widnes. Goodness knows he needs to, or questions really will be asked in the house.
I also saw the interview with Cooke and he is talking about resting players, but interestingly their dual-reg team is Hull, who don't have a match this weekend. What chance a few of their fringe players turning up to bolster things?

Apart from my cousin's Spanish wedding (Cas away) I haven't missed a game in the past 12 months, but I have decided to go and watch Leigh v Fev on Sunday rather than ourselves. Having said that, Donny are a good side this year and deserve some respect.
