| I suspect this will be of interest to only a few on here, but our website is currently showing the U16's promoted to U19 next year. One of the more interesting moves for me is the promotion of Harvey Livett. This offers the likelihood of Livett combining with Toby King in the centres which is an intriguing prospect. Add to that Declan Patton at SH and Johnson on the wing, and we already have a pretty formidable set of backs. In the forwards, I think the likes of Joe Philbin, Tom Walker, Mick Learmonth, Ryan Maneely and little Robert Holroyd will also still be U19's. So this should be a really strong team for next year, with some very good prospects for Wire.

| They are all worthy additions and five of them are from Warrington community clubs which is very positive.

Is Livett the son of the ex-Woolston fullback who played at Sheffield?

| I don't think Harvey is related to Pete Livett.
And I am not sure where money features in signing players for the U16s, no transfers or payments to anyone are ever made. The most you get is training kit and some promises!
From the games I have seen I would say Harvey and Brad have stood out most so far.

| Do we know what the structure will be next year? I guess this too will be affected by Lenegan's antics.

Leneghans meeting was by all accounts more about a lack of faith in the RFL to run and govern the League effectively with in particular parts about the Lack of sponsorship throughout the game poor marketing and continually trying to change the format of the game rather than fixing it's problems , So basically a vote of no confidence in the RFL as a governing body

| Hope you do well in the U19s next year.
The comp is light on quality clubs and teams, a strong Wire team will help enormously.
Best of Luck.

| RFL proposals-
Quote: "An U19 Academy Development League is mandated for all clubs with an
accredited Academy. A programme of 27 games will be structured across
the Super League season.
5.4.19 Dual registration will be operational for clubs to enter into partnerships
across the professional and Community Game. A total of three players
per week will be able to be dual registered. Revisions will be made to the
existing regulations to ensure competition integrity is maintained.
5.4.20 Dual registration will be available into Tier 4 and Tier 5 of the Community
Game for players in clubs where partnerships with Community clubs have
been agreed. Any U19 player attached to a club participating in the Tier 1
Academy competition may be dual registered with the Community club
from which they signed professionally. Community clubs may include up
to three dual registered players in any one team.
5.4.21 A programme of Reserves Development games in two phases will be
optional for all clubs. The reserves games will be structured into two
divisions across Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Divisions will be structured in two
phases with a programme of games between the period February to April
and a second games period between August and October.
5.4.22 Clubs will be able to organise games outside these periods in agreement
with competing clubs.
5.4.23 An U16 Academy programme of 8 fixtures (to be confirmed) will be
structured across the year in a structured competition calendar agreed
with the Community Board for players aged 15 and 16.
5.4.24 An U18 Centre of Excellence regionalised competition will be structured
across the year in partnership with British Colleges Sport and the
Community Board.
5.4.25 Professional clubs can operate open access Player Development Camps
(that meet national standards) to support talent identification and
development.
5.4.26 There is no representative rugby below the age of U16 in any of the
competitions.

| Well, they are withdrawing from the Hetherington plan for 2013 and 14, so that is good news. Leaving the U15's with the community clubs is also a good idea as far as I am concerned. But the proposals on the reserves looks like a dogs breakfast, and I can not understand what they are trying to do here. A full league programme for the reserves over the whole season was what I was expecting. That allows the injured players to rehabilitate, unused players to keep match fit, and over 19's to progress to the next level.
