No its not they will go into victoria otherwise they have to change twice we can go direct to piccadilly from bankqauy and its only 10 mins longer.

Or, just apply a little common sense and you will be fine. It always amazes me that people pay to stand on a terrace then moan like hell when they have to stand up on a busy train for 15 minutes!

What about the people who did stand and never got on a train because they were to packed and they had already bought tickets

I posted plenty of advice for train users the other day. Follow it and you'll have no problem.

Trains were a nightmare last year. I got pulled off the train by police officers
as a yank complained that i'd squashed his misses. It was so crammed. Sounds
like a dodgy sex story but in all seriousness it was a farce. Got a taxi booked
this time round with family and freinds.

We tried the train last year but it was nearly full when it arrived at Earlestown & there were so many waiting on the platform not everyone could get on. Then the doors jammed and people had to get off the train. Easy decision ,back home for the car & that's how we're going this year. It's a ridiculous situation when a main transport carrier like the railway can't put extra trains or just extra coaches on to scheduled services.....they mustn't want custom.

I can't rely the trains to run me between Birchwood and Central in an efficient and timely manner, so I sure as feces won't be using them on Grand Final day.

It all depends what you want. I always make a day out of games, whether it's a final or Keighley so that rules driving/coaches out. If you are just wanting to go straight to the stadium or have one pint beforehand there is no point bothering with the train but for the likes of myself it works a treat.

after the horror stories of last year using the train is the last option for me..were going by coach leaving at 2..plenty of time for a few beers and take in the atmosphere let someone else take the strain and you can relax..just hope theres no muppets around to ruin the day like last year..

It's only 12 miles away. You could walk it in 4 hours.

I went last year (Wigan fan) and the trains were a joke, now that the trains are going to be further loaded in a similar direction I don't see how things will be better.
