Rubbish, you evidently didn't watch the game. If it was as simple as coasting for 27 rounds into fifth then winning the play off series, why has it only ever been done by one club?

I'm not saying I'm convinced by the theory or owt, but the current play-off system has only been in place for two years and in those two years Leeds were the team that finished fifth both times.

Good post. What is the point of being a so called RL fan when all you do is talk the game down. All this rubbish has only started over the past two seasons when Leeds have won the GF from fifth spot.

The top 8 system was introduced in 09, Leeds won it that year from first. The year after that Wigan won from the same position.

Pies now beaten 22-8 at Catalans with a fairly strong side., so everyone is in exactly the same position as when the weekends round started.
