| This is clearly a ruse to get away from their hoodoo against us at Langtree Park
In all seriousness, have you seen the picture? It's like a lake, it's unbelievable. Met Office says more rain is likely later in the week too, so they might have to move it, although given how close we are is the HJ coping with the rain?

| According to RFL rules if the game can't go ahead due to unforeseen circumstances, the winner from Week 1 goes through to the final.

Changing the venue is hardly 'cant go ahead due to unforseen circumstances'.

| The only problem we've got is if it raining on the night we will not compete. It's just the way we are.

It's a good job we got a dry day at Wembley isn't it.

The picture does look like a lake but thankfully is a good drop below the stadium, it would take some serious rainfall to climb the step to the top and would probably end up with the majority of the town being flooded too, if water levels ever rose that high.
There is a bridge on that road and the road dips down for the bridge, making the lake effect. It will stop fans getting to the stadium from that side though. So the away fans may want to bring a snorkel.

| Unless the flooding outside the stadium becomes dangerous to spectators, or the pitch becomes waterlogged I can't see the game being changed, but it does bring up the serious point of 'what if'. Realistically the game cannot be postponed/delayed so I wonder when, if necessary, any decision would need to be made? They can't decide at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon to move the game to Widnes!

The could have Widnes (or the Haliwell Jones) on standby for Sunday.

If the roles were reversed, would you want to give up home advantage and play away, or would you prefer to play at a neutral venue? I'm pretty certain that IF the game was to be switched (which I seriously doubt it will be) then it would be Widnes (the iPitch is also in their favour).
I would imagine that neither Sky or the two clubs would want to delay the game, whoever won it would then have two days less to prepare than Leeds [size(or Wigan)[/size.
