| Jamie Peacock is a top bloke and has been a world class forward and he rolled back the years on Saturday with a superb performance, but how the Leeds coach can put Ryan Bailey in the same pack as Peacock I'll never know,
honestly its like getting yourself ready for a night out on the town, putting on your freshly washed fresh smelling, perfectly ironed clothes, your hair washed and conditioned, and waxed or gelled to a perfect style, the best alloe vera moisturiser on your face and some darned expensive cologne,.......and then slipping in dog and getting covered in it, and thinking "ahhh no one will notice lets boog-a-loo......come on...!!!"
When Peacock was down with cramp I thought waving to play on was a class act. He's the main reason I like Leeds and dont mind watching them win stuff, its why I can Stomach liking them despite the Ryan Bailey Factor.
I thought Peacock was let down by a lot of his teammates yesterday none more so than the cowardly winger hitter Bailey. I'm glad Moz mentioned Peacock in his post match interview it was the least he deserved.
I guess thats how Mike Gregory must have felt back in 1990, gave it his all but couldnt do it on his own....
Just thought he deserves a mention on this board if he hasnt got one on the Leeds board. (and Bailey deserves to be ridiculed, as he is on every forum).

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| Agrees, Peacock is all class as is Burrow, Sinfield, Maguire, Hall and most of the Leeds club. Gave me no pleasure at all to see them suffering. Naturally the same cannot be said for "Bails" - always nice to rub his nose in the Sam Tomkins.
Oh, and 2nd half at Magic weekend I had the misfortune to sit near 2 absolute ends of a bell Leeds fans. Seemed to object to a) me wanting a knock on and b) Warrington fans celebrating tries. I hope their bus broke down, that they lost their wallets and that when they got home, they found their wives on bed with another woman.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

| I was speaking to a group of Wakey fans before the game, pretty much said the same thing. If we lost, at least it would mean Peacock and Sinfield would be picking up a winners medal. Quality players and seemingly quality individuals.

| Kevin Sinfield is my favourite non-Wire player and Leeds were my favouite big club back when Wire had no chance of winning things (so not that long ago).
If Leeds had won I would have been pleased for him and Burrow and gutted for McGuire that he had missed out. I've never been sure about Peacock, largely because his accent means I hate listening to a word he says. Do Bradford fans still like him or do they hate him for joining Leeds? Serious question that because I have no idea, but I can't imagine it went down too well with them at the time.

Did you say the same to that Leeds fan you were berating after the match?

| Peacock is an absolute star in so many ways, and i always feel a little guilty when we beat them and Peacock has played his absolute skin off, which is usually every time.
One of the most honest and humble pro's you're ever likely to see and by all accounts has got the time for any supporter of thr game off the field

| IMO Peacock was the best forward on the field on Saturday.
40 tackles, no missed tackles (most by any player)
156 metres, most by any forward.
Leeds are going to miss him when he retires.

| A player who will be remembered as a great of the game no matter who you support. Showed on Saturday he's far from finished, sadly for Leeds none of their other forwards could get near his effort.

| I agree Peacock is a giant of the game and a great person as well, Ryan Bailey isn't even in the same universe.
Spare these Leeds players your tears about losing though....they have all won more medals than Briers, Westwood, Paul Wood etc are likely to win in their careers, so I would rather our guys picked these up before they retire. Peacock has won 2 Challenge Cups already.
As for Burrow, Sinfield, McGuire etc if they want to win Challenge Cups before they retire maybe they should think of joining a club that could give them those opportunities? It's what Atkins, Myler and Ratchford did?

| Peacock waving away of Silverwood was top class.
I'll always remember Sydney Football Stadium Nov 2006.
Aussie thug Big Willie lays out Fielden with cheap shot.
1st to arrive Sean Long kinda acts as peace maker.
Not 2nd to arrive Peacock who chins Mason - not so tough are you now Willie?
Top bloke.

| Totally agree with what you guys are saying about JP.
He is a top bloke on and off the field and has been a great servant to Leeds.
To answer some of the posters.
I think most fans of Bradford still like JP mainly because it was not really his fault he left them.
Pretty much down to the Harris saga that tipped him leaving.
Read JP`s book it explains alot in there.
As far as Myler, Ratchford and Atkins coming to Wire to win CC`s
Probably so and to get more money than other clubs were offering.
But I bet all three would love to have won 5 GF rings too
Whilst you lot are singing JP`s praises I would like to sing Briers praise.
Took some right stick from the Leeds fans and replied by winning the CC with another top performance. Quality player.
