Anyone know the severity of this or how it happened? I could see his hand was red from the back of the South stand, and watching the game back on sky you could see the blood pouring out of his head. I watched the incident a few times, but couldn't see the cause.

This year, i'm all about simon grix making the cup final squad, he's missed out on the previous two, down to injury i think, whether he'd be a choice i can't recall, but he definately deserves to actually have a chance to win a medal this year.

Grix would be Ideal for Wembley. He can play in many positions and is strong.

Gary Chambers was singing Grixs praise's on Wire fm commentery yesterday. Saying he is very underrated player good trainer etc etc etc.

Shame he seems to be made of biscuit though.

This is what I thought, but wasn't sure he missed out on both. He definitely flies under the radar, like Riley did until recently.

He might not play on Friday (head injury etc), but I'm confident he'll be in the 17 for Wembley.

The winning team gets 25 medals to hand out to their 'players and officials', so I assume 19 to the team and 1 for TS. Don't know about the other 6, but they could certainly give him one if they wished, and I think everybody would agree he is in the '1st choice 17' for Wire.

If anyone deserves a spot in the final its Grixy. One of the most underated players in SL imo.
