I know its a little way off yet, but who do you reckon is in with a shout to win it this year?

From Wire - think Atkins is the only player who has a real shot at it!

From the others - Tomkins obviously will be in the mix, maybe Charnley, I'm sure Roby's name will be mentioned. Dureau is sure to be there or there abouts but other than that i struggling to think of any other standouts?

Looking at all the teams, Scott Dureau for me so far, not been too many REALLY outstanding players this season.

This one is a no brainer. Has to be Ryan Bailey, he is in a class all on his own.

Chris Hill for Young Player.

Hock for me. He's been nothing short of outstanding so far.

Chris Hill's a good shout for rookie of the year, if he qualify's.

Got to be a Wigan player for me, Tomkins or Hock.

Two of the best in the world in their respective positions IMO.

Must it be a player? Potentially Mick Potter's name could be thrown into the hat should it be judged on impact on the game as opposed to a playing impact.

I was trying to think of a Bradford player but they have all pulled together as one ( a team) and they all deserve some recognition.


I still think Atkins has / is doing enough to win it - try's, assists, metres, metres after the tackle, tackle bursts, and clean breaks.

Tomkins must be in with a shout , Hock may have a sniff
