| from a wigan fan fantastic game! and wire showed some character i have never seen before, usually wire can just steam roll teams with size but tonight was evenly matched and you stuck in there and got the win. i cant wait for the rematch! and the grand final of course

| Well I am a Leyther but a great game to watch from two of the best sides in Non Relegation league.
Could have gone either way. Thought Lauaki had a brainstorm and a draw would have been a fair result but well done Wire.

As daft as it sounds i think Tomkins was very smart by going as far as he could without scoring because i think he knew if he went over it would go back to the obstruction and be chalked off, he actually looked like he deliberately held up.

| tomkins is an amazing player... so elusive... i dont know how he manages to avoid tackles like he does.
when he learns how to use the ball better he will be unplayable..... if he had the rugby brain of lee briers he would be astonishing.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| I don't buy into this Wigan were better rubbish. If we had their field position and possession we would have posted numerous tries. Wigan on attack are comparable to Bradford - clueless once the ball goes through more than one set of hands.
Every single threat from Wigan comes on the back of individual brilliance from Tomkins - they are lucky that he is as good as he is.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

They are very staid in attack. If the short pass, with the player looping back around the ruck, or the long pass, short pass back inside doesn't work, it seems to be just get the ball to Tomkins.
I was told that the possession stats came up after about sixty minutes stating 74%-26% in Wigan's favour, if it was the case they should have been out of sight.
Overall, I thought it was a rather poor game, far too many unforced errors.

I think those stats were just for the start of the second half and didn't include the first half, but they must still have been in Wigan's favour. We must have had the minority of possession in most of the games this year and we're still top of the league (at least until tomorrow) so can't complain too much.
