| Anywere really. Weatherspoons 100 yards from station, The Anvil near the bus station are your best bets.
Avoid Harrys bar and The Venue (formally Brunnells) both full of scrubbers of the highest order.

| Avoid the 2 pubs 21-12 mentioned and the rest aren't bad.
Queues at Wetherspoons are always a nightmare but it's not a bad pint.
Berkeleys ok and for the Bitter drinkers there's a few Good uns to try.
Little Fifteens is pretty decent.
Anvil is a good pint but stay out (That's where I'll be! )
If you walk down past Deanery School (Which is the best/quickest way from The Anvil/Town centre) Sam's Bar is also a good pint (If a little cramped!).

| The Brick on Frog lane, about a mile from train station. Best pint in Wigan, close to the ground and supporters from all teams made welcome. If you stay in the town centre, it is Friday night and things can get a bit fractious.
