I watched the match sat next to a Sky sound guy by the dug out. A Leeds fan sat on his other side said to him." as a neutral do you think the ref is biased against us?" " No" said the Sky guy. "Uh, tha knows nowt" said Yorkshire. Enough said really.

I listened to the first game of the season on Radio Humberside. It was hard to work out who Hull were playing against at times, apart from the referee. It took a while to work out if Westwood had converted the last minute conversion. |

To be fair I was at the game and thought he favoured Wire.
I also thought the VR should have cancelled out Westwoods try and should not have cancelled out the Leeds try that Kylie allegedly obstructed a Wire player.
For me Kylie did not stop the defender nor did he make contact so try every time.
But no doubt if I watched from the comfort of my lounge I would probably have a different view.
Out of interest who do the Wakefield fans blame every Monday?
The RL for letting them stay in SL maybe. |

As has been said elsewhere? The Leuluai obstruction and Higham offside were correct by the letter of the law but seem to lack common sense. Higham wasn't involved and Kylie didn't block anyone.
The "active" rule in football creates all sorts of problems so not sure that's the way forward but the rule needs looking at IMO.
