I know playing golf in the lead up to the game isn't exactly a crime, but it still annoys me all the same.
He was carping on the other day about wishing his career was starting over again at Warrington, and then goes and misses a game for a stupid reason in what could be his final year. Silly really.

But we move on and for me is still first choice.

Still don't understand why punishing the team is a punishment for Briers !
Surely to punish Briers it would have been better to fine him a weeks wages for breaking drinking curfew in Aus !

Apart from he clearly shows trust fr the other players to get the job done, rewards them for sticking to the club protocol and no exceptions are given, not even to Briers.

No player is bigger than a club, he's served his punishment, we move on. If Tony thinks its right, who am I to argue with the great one?!

Briers will be back on Sunday...
