Something to keep your Brains ticking over till Feb
From 1-13
Try to find players who you think are on a par with our current starting 13, i know our starting 13 is also debatable so use which ever player from the current squad you like.
The team should, in YOUR opinion, be of equal standing to the current equivalent position
Use an era you like and any team or nationality.
Remember you're not trying to find players better or worse, but players who you think are more or less equal in standard and capability.

The most disturbing thing about Mookachaka's post is he compares most of our players to legends of the game and then thinks Ryan Atkins is as good as Chev Walker!
I would raise an eyebrow at Michael Monaghan and Craig Wing as well....Monaghan is a few cuts above Wing for me. If we are comparing with other Aussie hookers then Geoff Toovey would be more in Monaghan's class.

That's a fair comparison for me. Chev Walker before his subsequent move to RU and horrendous injury list was quite a handy player. Certainly on a par with anything Atkins is currently serving up. The problem was Chev didn't perform at that level for long before RU came knocking, and the rest as they say is history. Plus the fact that Leeds constantly shunted Walker between centre and backrow didn't help his game in the long term. |
