| Yep, a glutton for punishment.
The one thing that stands out from our performance is the individual errors, those errors cost us 18pts out of the 26pts that Leeds scored.
Simon Grix's attempted pass out wide that wasn't on, Ryan Hall said thanks very much and away he went. Simon Grix's lazy/weak attempt to tackle Rob Burrow, he scoots away from a weak shirt grab and Leeds score.
Chris Bridge's weak attempt on Brent Webb, that one was pretty poor by anyone's standards.
Yeh we wern't at our best on friday night with quite a few under par performances from some of our key players but we could have still won that game with a bit more effort and composure, Leeds were clinical in punishing those errors but they were errors that shouldn't of happened.
It was still a great performance from Leeds to win away at the side that finished top of the league, they were very solid.

I said the exact same thing to my Dad during the game at 18 all - we had to work to get our points, we gifted Leeds theirs (i'm not taking anything away for Leeds performance in general - but is was there to see).

Hopefully its part of the learning curve Gaz in gaining the knowledge of how to get to Old Trafford and potentially become Grand Final winners, our keep the ball alive at every available oppertunity is great to watch, we just need to find that balance of when to stick and not twist.

| I think also 3 errors from Monas in the first half may have had a bearing on the result;
1. His break early in the piece, but passes too late and Webb cuts it out.
2. Poor pass to Briers which Briers knocks on 10 metres out.
3. Then knocks on from from the play the ball on our own 10 metre line.
Just one of those things, but Monas has been immense for us this year, it beggars belief how he is not shortlisted for Man of Steel.

I got the impression that Bridge got a back injury fairly early in the game. He did go off for a while, but came back on again.

| Just re-watched the game again for the 1st and very last time.
Ganson missed an CLEAR penalty to us on Moz with the scores at 24 each right in front of the Leeds sticks, right in fornt of the Leeds sticks with about 3 mins left on the clock.

He had an absolute shocker on Friday.
Bridge was terrible as well. Bit of a blunder from Smith to put Bridge in the pack when he could have played him in the centre? It's not like Riley is a must-start, he could have been on the bench.

Never been a massive fan of Riley, but he was our best player on friday along with King, and before Hodgson went off he looked comfortable on the wing making a couple of teling runs, then at fullback looked solid under the high ball(more so than Hodgson) and ran it back strongly. this has consistantly been the case all year.I was bemused at his loan out and replacement by Rhys Williams who I have never rated.
maybe he's our Ade Gardner (without the errors obviously ) in that he's never going to be lauded as a superstar and will always have his critics but he gets the job done is safe and knows where the try line is.
But Bridge stunk the place out big time....cost him an England spot ...or too harsh....?

There was also one with about five minutes to go right in front of the South Stand on the 40 meter line where they held one of our players down for ages. Should have been a penalty and a good opportunity to get the ball deep into the Leeds half.

| it was painful to watch!!!!!!!!!!! all it did for me was, (no offence to leeds, ) make me realise what i thought when i was watching the game at the hj on fri ,we lost the game rather than they won it!like i say,no offence to leeds, and no bad loser comment!just hard to take the manner of our defeat after the brilliant way we played all season, our fans and players really deserved a better end to our great season!still,we DID WIN the super league! and score the most points and conceeded less tries than any other team in the league, so it cant be all bad roll on nxt season !
