41106.jpg You come at the king - You better not miss.
It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?:41106.jpg |

| From a Leeds fan - commiserations, you've played some fantastic rugby this year and been a joy to watch and although I'm sure it's no consolation right now that was one of the best playoff games in years.
It took one hell of a performance (and a champion player with nerves of steel) to beat you.

| It was a cracking game, how i wish every game could be, decided in the last 5 minutes, imagine if every game had that intensity and will to win, it would sh*t football and union.

| I've said all week at work, if it's a close game, Leeds will take it. If Wire win, it'll be a blowout.
Leeds have the know how. Wire, as of yet, don't.
Fantastic game tonight, and a great season, I'm just glad that I'm going into tomorrows match safe in the knowledge we already have 1 cup this year.

FYI Warrington has already won the hardest to obtain accolade of the season already.

| Making grand finals is hard. It's bloody hard.
Any semi you play, whether it's against 2nd place or 5th place, will be tough.
In 2003 we (leeds) lost a similiar final eliminator against wigan. A close, tight, tense game with the lead twisting and changing only for a late drop goal to win it for wigan.
Over the next 7 years we won 4 titles.
My point is sometimes you have to go through defeats like this before your club can build a winning mentality in these games.
With respect, warringtons record in the playoffs is still sketchy. You've been awesome this year and have done well winning the CC over recent years, but the playoffs are a different kettle of fish and warrington are still abit unproven in that respect.
I'm just trying to say the defeat sucks but it will stand you in good stead over the coming years when no doubt you'll play in more grand final semis.

| Warrington have been a joy to watch this season and winning the LL trophy was well deserved. Wire were off their normal pace tonight and lost some structure when Hodgson went off injured. Leeds hung in there and so well done to them. I thought both teams played below what they can achieve but as a contest it was absorbing to watch as a neutral. Rugby played with that level of intensity simply beats football and RU hands down. RL was the ultimate winner tonight. Lets hope tomorrow's semi is just as exciting no matter who wins.
Finally, well done Wire for playing some great entertaining rugby this year and enhancing the RL product.

Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| Great year for the wolfs anyway. Just glad we won't be playing them IF we win tomorrow. Would have battered us in a final.

| If I had my way you would be crowned Champions already. Im not a fan of the play offs. I find it absurd that a team could win every game from the season opener to the semi final and lose at Old Trafford and walk away with nothing but thats the system we have unfortunately.
As a Saints fan I have seen us a number or times finish top of the pile and end up with nowt and I know how it feels.
Only a fool would disagree that you have been the most entertaining and consistent side in 2011.
I did feel that this was your best chance and there are some players getting long in the tooth so there may be some rebuilding necessary now.
I'm not going to be two faced ! I didnt want you to win, partly out of rivalry and the fact if Saints do make it I thought Wire's extra pace on the wide open space of Old Trafford may have told.
See you next season at our new abode !

| Makes a joke of the system that the team that dominated the league wont be in the final and the team that finished 5th could win it, it just rewards mediocraty

Not really the rules are there at the start and everyone knows what the script is! Leeds have slowly been improving all season and have now reached both finals so hardly mediocre!
Leeds defence was awesome at times they got numbers in the tackle and were physical. They didnt give Wire much field position through easy yards and gave themselves a chance to be in the game.
Wire looked like the pressure was on them and didnt produce their usual with the ball. Sure they will be back up there again next season, hopefully Huddersfield will be more of a threat come play off time and we can have a league with 5 teams who can realistically win it!!

| Unlucky Wire, was really rooting for you last night but just wasn't to be. Think the week off was detrimental for you as you have been on a great roll before it. Still you can take solace in being the best team throughout the season regardless of the GF winner.
