I've only just been able to get online, but fair play to some of your fans. After leaving the game 5-6 different groups/individuals approached me and my friends. They either congratulated us or wished us good luck. No swearing, no bitterness. It's what our sport is all about , and hats off to you guys! Good luck for the rest of the season.

Most of the fans - even on these boards - are generally sporting, gracious in victory and defeat. Glad to hear of your positive experience, and hope it help shame the likes of WireWonder and others at both clubs who have no clue how to behave.

Unfortunately, every big game we've been involved with in my watching lifetime, has involved the "yeah, I'm Wire frew'n'frew (sic)" nob-ends we seem to attract. Then, lo and behold, when it's Wakefield at home the week after (or for any other run of the mill game), they're nowhere to be found.

Just as a point of interest, when I was at home, 19:30 ish, you could hear the tones of Police sirens going down Manchester Road, heading towards town. Was there any trouble when they let the Worriers out of the ground?

i seen a few scuffles outside the kings head , was just having a couple of pints to drown me sorrows with me son , then the scum starting hurling abuse

When i left the ground on the whistle, there were people on the front of the Rodney drinking half full pints (suggesting they'd been there a bit) discussing and weighing up if they should go the Kings head and wait for the Wigan fans (if any of you are reading this grow the f--- up) i would have reported this to the police but there were plenty of them already around the station. These were not kids either but 40 year old blokes.

To think, these pr1cks probably have kids of their own (maybe even grandkids), who'll "look up to" dad, as some kind of role model.

I seen some bloke in the south stand abusing an old couple... All warrington fans.

Speaking to a mate of mine yesterday (who's in the Martin Dawes stand) who told be the beer chuckers were out in force again......

at times, I'm at a loss to come to terms with the nobendedness of some of our "fans"

But walking past there with a red and white wig singing y warrington is probs not the best of idea's.

Met a group of 4 wigan lads in chicago rock after the game, had a good laugh with them and even had an unofficial wigan v wire comp on the punchball. Didnt see any trouble whatsoever.

Had a woman of around 45 - 50 launch a half full pint pot over my head. Nearly threw her after it. Stewards kicked her out anyway.
