than the B.B.C. of covering Rugby League?. Given that the Super League show is a joke, being shown at all hours and very often only the Friday and Saturday night sky games being shown. If you are going to have a highlights show, then show the highlights. Maybe a Monday evening between the soaps, they usually put some kind of regional programme on.
With the general lack of sport on I.T.V. then the Challenge cup would be a good addition to their schedule.

If you've ever watched the Champions League on ITV you would realise how far behind they are. ATEOTD Sky Sports & ESPN are light years ahead of the terrestrial channels but BBC still have the edge over ITV for me.

For Highlights shows their Union one is absolutely fantastic compared to Boots n All + Super League show. On ITV 2 I think, regular time (albeit later on at night), and it doesn't try to be anything it's not. They normally just have the 1 presenter at the side of the pitch introducin each game, with the odd interview thrown in.

Thats the simple fact though, if we want Rugby League to look a bit more appealing to new fans, we have to face the fact that they aren't going to be attracted to the sport by listening to not the most charismatic northern blokes try to analyse a game.

Highlights show should be just that, highlights. Cut out the rubbish filler chat and give extended highlights rather than just the tries scores.

itv would a much better job tbh but at the end of the day terrestrial tv channels all together probably wouldnt care about rugby league due to the round ball sport but the necromancers shout of channel 4 wasnt a bad shout because maybee they would actually show more than itv or bbc
