| Every week Myler gets stick, every week we as fans hope he shows some glimpses of potential.
But I am afraid he is simply a 'Danny McGuire Mark 2'
He is never an organising half back and never will be.
So do we stick with him or hope he comes good, or simply let go?
Good night all the Myler haters!

32137_1302980312.jpg Fat blokes in the mud, flat caps, bogs that drain pi55 directly onto your boots - Now it's all 'Big Ask', 'Arm Wrestle', 'Collision' 'Contact' 'Facials' 'Upper Body Strength' 'Big Units' 'Scooting from Dummy Half' 'Energy Levels' 'Laying the Platform' ‘Middles’ and 'T-R-Y'. Let’s not forget resilience.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32137.jpg |

| Myler 'is' the player for me, he isn't a Briers type and never will be.

Agreed. He was bought to be a supporting half back not a creator.

| The sooner fans stop comparing half backs to Lee Briers the better. Briers is a one off and, arguably, other than Sean Long there hasn't been a British organising half back like him in the SL era. But players like Harris (spit, judas) Leon Pryce play a similar role to the 'supporting half back' and didn't do a bad job at half back.
Now this is in no way a comparison, but remember where Darren Lockyer was at his early 20's, playing fullback relying on his instinct to get himself the right place at the right time. Players can be coached skills like kicking and passing, but cant be coached instinct. Let's put faith in the lad and get off his back

What sort of person prints this rubbish after a 64-6 win?

| Danny McGuire isn't even Danny McGuire anymore though is he ?
People keep comparing Myler to him, but he's changed over the last 6/7 years from literally a support runner to now being their 'go to' halfback, check Leeds without him this year. That's what a career and age does for you, changes your game. (and injuries)
I'm sure if he stays (I hope he does) if we're discussing him in 5/6 years, it'll be a very different Myler that we discuss. Just let him mature.

He looks slightly more exposed when Briers isnt playing - but as it stands being a creative halve isnt his game. He scores try's for fun - Im happy enough with that thanks.
We need to replace Briers in the creative role when he hangs up his boots and leave Myler doing what he's good at.

| FFS he is a 20 / 21 year old, he may not be at his best until he is around 25 and he will be one hell of a player.

| i wouldn't mind BUT myler was barking out orders left right and centre last night, of all the matches to pull him up over, this was the wrong one.

| What about Chris Bridge? We saw time and again that he's not an organising 6. When Briers isn't there Bridge can't work a team around the park like Briers can.
I reckon we should let go?
Also wasn't Ben Westwood supposed to be the 'new Keith Senior' according to David Plange. Even the old Senior is a better centre than Westwood ever was.
Another to let go.
And don't get me started on Michael Monaghan the new replacement for Nat Wood at 7....
