Reckon Friday's game v Crusaders will be better than normal because its not on a Sunday when the atmosphere is usually not as good.

Prefer Friday's also as you can have a drink at the game or before in the Irish or Hawthorne then get back for last orders at Tetley Walkers and not worry about work the next day!

We should play all our games on Friday nights under the lights...

As for friday night games, I agree, certainly at home anyway. The atmnosphere seems to be turned up a notch, particularly with the bigger games. But I do appreciate with it being a week day, its not going to please everyone...

all home games have terrible atmoshphere now bare wigan and saints knowone can be bothered, away games are so much better

I do like a Friday night game, esp Stains and Pies but check out how many we've got this season ! I do like the atmosphere and sense of occasion but only for the local derbies, not away across the penines in rush hour.
The thing is for me personally, I take 2 kids to matches but not on Friday nights - it's too late for them and I don't think it creates well for a 'family' atmosphere.
i had a quick flick through the fixtures and there seems to be a lot more Friday games across the board not just us.

But I guess by posting this I have given the reaction he wanted.

Normally a better atmosphere, but against a 'minor' team like the Crusaders/Quins/Catalans it really won't make much difference.

i like sat tea time matches plenty of time to get pub where ever the game is and time to get home for a few beers and sky+ to watch the victory again!

Would be a bit of a rush for me if more games were on Friday night (only finish work at 6), not at all convenient.
