| I was in the shop this morning to get my ticket for Fridays game and tickets were selling like hot cakes.
In the minute I was in the shop they sold 11 tickets and as I left people were coming in with cash in their hands.

| Pfft! All of these part time fans, only buying tickets because we won yesterday! Where were they when we played Bradford away in 2009? Ridiculous this is! I would rather have just 100 of us there, all of the true fans.
In all seriousness, great stuff to be selling this many, hopefully fill the away end for a great atmosphere.

The slightly depressing thing about that particular piece of satire is that, in some cases, it's 100% accurate.

| It was really busy at around 12.30pm yesterday when i picked my tickets up, and after yesterdays performance i can see a extra 500-600 people going, wouldn't surprise me if there are 5k from wire on Friday.

| Luckily I picked mine up last week, so have no worrys about having to get down there quickly this week before they all sell out... Which they most likely will do.

I'd like to see more regular large attendances as well but at the end of the day you need to accept that "big game charlie-ism" isn't the only reason why people pick & choose their games. In a lot of cases it can be down to financial and/or family restrictions, and in cases where there are legitimate reasons for picking and choosing games, who can blame people for turning up to the more "glamorous" fixtures?

| Me personally can only go to the games i can fit round work, sometimes i'm lucky and it's Wigan/Saints/Leeds
sometimes it's lesser clubs
Last year the games i saw live were
Home- Quins/Crusaders/Dragons/Featherstone/Bradford/Salford/KR
Away- Quins (easy to make)/Wigan
9 games, it's a ballache living so far and as you can see only really one glamorous fixture in that.
This year i'm on
Home- Quins
Away- Hudds(Cardiff)
Like you say Thecko legitimate reasons.
