| i think Riley has a real challenge trying to overtake this kid in the team ,he looks like hes played a stack of games for us , solid in defence ,very elusive great footwork and the way he took his try today showed great ablility to finish.think Evans and Blythe have really freshened the team up with there enthusiasm for work

| Id play both him and riley, you want nippy speedsters out wide. Yeah that leaves us with an embarrasement of riches in the centre but what a problem to have

| That take on the bomb was brilliant as well. I continue to be really pleased with the progress of Rhys.

| I liked the way he took the bomb and within seconds he was up the other end. Rhys seems to have the right on the field attitude work ethic that The Lord Tony Smith demands. This can only be good for us now and for the future.

| He's class isn't he.
The added size he has helps too, he mullered Karl Pryce early doors when Riley would have struggled. He's got the lot, both in attack & defence. I didn't think he did load today, everything he did he did with an assurance, he just looks made for SL.

Yeah, why not.
As long as we pay him well, I see no reason why not. Given that the club did a lot to get his family down here way back when, you would think there will be a fairly strong bond formed way beyond RL between the club and the Evans family.
I can see him & this brother beng a big part of our club for a long time.
Also, he looks a completely different person to Eastmond.

I am optimistic. He's a top lad [size,if a little dim[/size
I heard ( I know i hate that too) and it makes sense that he was in a Rugby Union rich area. I think he may have ahd the thought to come to Warrington and then move on to Rugby Union. I'm not vcompletely against it. He already looks like he is giving more than Eastmond ever gave saints.
It is supply and demand. Lots of rugby union talent where he lived. He can get on the big stage at Wire and maybe get a union contract when he is 20/21/22. We'll have about 3 good years of him but i can't see the appeal of league to them. They are both Union through and through.

I know what your saying, we've had the same problem in league for a while. when Penny came through a couple of years ago there was a big worry he would go to union too. So the club signe him to a decent deal.
Simon Moran is no idiot, he has already invested alot of money in the Evans brothers. Really can't see him letting them float off to union just as they are coming through.
I know you can never say never but let's have faith in Moran, he's never let Warrington down so far, and always but his money up front for the good of the club.

I know. It was a great gig they got down here.
As a twenty 3 year old though, with that much talent?

| I know this sounds like utter madness from a Warrington speccy but I wouldn't be disappointed to see him, his brother and Williams in a successful Crusaders team in the future. It would be good for the expansion of the game both for SL and for the welsh national side. If Wales could put out a side full of welsh players then the public might just get behind them. I didn't mind the fact that Eastmond is going to union as it would not be such a big loss to the game but to lose Evans to union in the future would be a massive missed opportunity for the good of game.
